Mission Log: Day 1

Current Mission Objectives:

• Complete a self-evaluation of self and armour.
• Examine nearby supply crate and take stock of equipment and weapons.
• Scout the surrounding area for threats.
• Locate a freshwater source.
• Establish a suitable base of operations.
• Perform a combat training refresher course.
• Make contact with the native sentient populace.

John One-One-Seven, reporting.
Moments ago I was attending San Diego Comic-Con International, suited up as Master Chief, from the video game, Halo.

I had just purchased a replica of Cortana's Chip and a UNSC Dog Tag from a strange merchant before I fell unconscious.

When I awoke I appeared to be in some crumbling ruins, located within a strange forest, and the armour I wore was now fully operational. I also discovered a supply crate near me that contained weapons, equipment, and supplies. Not to mention, I also have a version of Cortana in my head now.

My mind also seems to have been altered, as I now think and behave similarly to the real Master Chief.

Cortana has detected a nearby settlement on the other side of this forest, which I will investigate once I have completed my other mission objectives.

If this is the world I believe it to be, then there is no telling how the locals will react to me. Caution is advised for the time being. I do not remember my old name, so for now I shall take the identity of my current form, until such a time as I can recall my old self. If the inhabitants of this land ask about my identity, I shall inform them that I am a Spartan, and my name is Master Chief. I shall also attempt to keep Mission Logs during my time here, as a way to convince myself that this is real, and not some deluded dream or fantasy.

End of Mission Log: Day 1

Chrysalis wants revenge against the world that's wronged her. To start, she needs to take back her kingdom. What better way to start than to abduct the prince? Rather than hold him for ransom, getting information straight from the source will do just fine.

Unfortunately, Pharynx isn't too keen on talking to his former queen. Fortunately for Chrysalis, there are plenty of ways to extract information from a stubborn traitor.

Ocellus tells Thorax about Hearth’s Warming, and they both get excited about bringing the holiday to the Hive, excited to decorate the Hive, exchange gifts, and spend time with family.

Pharynx is... less inclined. Now, Ocellus and Thorax must try and convince him that Hearth’s Warming can be fun and enjoyable.

Twilight's entire life is upended after the Equestrian Parliament votes to subjugate the Changeling Empire via a political marriage. Twilight, in order to save her mentor from taking on the responsibility of the marriage ends up volunteering herself to be the bride.

(Story idea requested by Anonymous. Takes place in an alternative universe after the events of "A Canterlot Wedding".)

When the love wave from Princess Cadence and Shining Armor expels all the changelings from Canterlot, it has an unintentional side effect. One that no one could've seen coming.

Just before impact, Chrysalis hits herself on the head and the injury is sufficient enough to trigger a mental regression in her. To the surprise of her subjects she no longer refers to herself as queen, and acts more like a hatchling named "Chrysy".

Unfortunately for "Chrysy", her and her fellow changelings are stranded in Equestria with no way to get back to the hive. Forced to lay low, her subjects must also tend to their regressed queen and keep her safe. And all the while they search desperately for a way to get her back to her old self.

But how does one undo a mental regression? And more importantly, what if "Chrysy" doesn't want to change?

It's a calm winter night at the changeling hive, and Everyone is excited for Hearth's Warming! However, while his subjects finish with the preparations, Thorax is busy trying to find the royal cuddlier so he can cuddle his stress away!

This story is a sequel to The Young Warrior: Pharynx's Journey

Head General Fortuna Larynx has never chosen an apprentice before. She's never seen a changeling nymph that had the qualities she was looking for. That is, until Pharynx Elytron, the oldest child of Chrysalis-regina, reaches the apprenticing age. Fortuna knew from the stories she had heard that no other warriors would be able to turn Pharynx into the changeling she knew he was capable of becoming. So, it's time for her to finally select an apprentice to mentor. Fortuna can only hope she'll be able to encourage Pharynx to be his best self without too much interference from his mother.

Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow were now statues but not every creature is happy. Refusing to join Equestria's Celebration, Thorax and the swarm heads home. However, the day holds one final surprise for Thorax.
