The Changeling hive launched a desperate attack on Canterlot to save themselves from extinction. It failed. With the whole world now knowing about them they have no choice but fight for their very survival. Outmatch and outnumbered, they have no hope of survival. They fight for precious land to give the hive more time for an effective solution or war ending strategy that will save them. With Equestria hell bent of the destruction of the hive this seems unlikely. All seems hopeless. They need something to deliver them hope.

Spike's plan to get the ponies to trust Thorax was going to work; at least, that's what he thought. It turns out that ponies aren't as easy to accept others as they make it out to be.

Will vary wildly from Show canon, especially in season 7 and beyond.

As Starlight and Trixie both enlist the help of Thorax to save both the Mane 6, the Princesses, and before Discord had forced himself into the group to help, Starlight is struck with the thought of enlisting the help of some other friends who could also be of use to this rescue mission. Spanning the reaches of time and space to save her friends from Queen Chrysalis’s hoodwinking of a crime, turning to similar yet different friends along the way.

Even though Mirror Magic had happened way after this initial event, it doesn't necessarily mean that Twilight had shared her story of another world to Starlight before the events of the end of Season 6. So, they'd be starting off as complete strangers and would make sense to have a more mutual meeting in Mirror Magic as well. There is one continuity hiccup where as to place the Main 7 into the timeline of events, either giving them their geodes or not. It doesn't really make a difference other than a potential story split. One where they have the geodes and one without, the without timeline could just lead back into the natural timeline, but the one with the geodes could have a more in depth diverging timeline if it's the case.

A final standoff against Queen Chrysalis in the main hive of the Changelings. A lone changeling that wants to change everything. Yet... it was never meant to be.

Thorax had failed, and for that... let's just say the queen has some plans for a certain draconequus and two prissy unicorns...

Queen Chrysalis dies underneath the rock and stone of the fallen Changeling Kingdom, as Thorax becomes the new leader. Her spirit latches onto his body. And now, they are one.

All the while, a new terror is approaching. A unicorn who goes by the name, Onyx Star.

This is a story of love, heartache, and fear. The young evolved Changeling Thorax, has fallen in love with a certain unicorn that has Twilight for a mentor, however, nothing is at peace forever in Equestria. When 2 old enemies re-surface once again, seeking retribution for what Twilight, and Thorax had done to them.

Soon after a rigorous fight against the evil corruption in their minds, Luna, Twilight, and Celestia, soon fall to the corruption, releasing their alter evils from their shackles. Turning them into Day Breaker, Midnight Twilight, and Nightmare Moon.

The fair ponies of Equestria, and Twilights' friends, are imprisoned and Equestrias in flames, yet not all hope is lost.

One night Thorax finds a human child in the Hive and decides to take care of him because this child seems to not remember who his real parents are. As the time flies Thorax starts to see this human as his son and the human starts see Thorax as his father.
