Twilight is not an alicorn yet. It’s supposed to be set a few weeks after Canterlot Wedding, and Chrysalis tries again with something a little less... subtle. This time, Twilight slept in and was unable to stop her.

It's Cozy Glow's birthday! While her mother, Chrysalis, gets her ready, her father, Tirek, and uncle, Sombra, prepare the party.

What a great day it would be for the villains!

Princess Luna, growing evermore aware that Equestria has come under attack in recent days by a seemingly invisible foe, decides to petition Princess Twilight Sparkle to allow her to found an organisation in order to combat the threat.

And so begins the strange tale of the Nightmare Knights, Equestria's newest reformed team of villains, as they bring peace, justice, order and security to the world--one ghastly ghoul at a time.

When a vortex suddenly appears in the starry night sky, the vortex sucks up every thing and everyone, including FlameStar, plunging them deep into a mysterious archipelago in the furthest part of Equestria called The Party Islands. To get back to Ponyville, FlameStar must challenge his rivals and friends, play minigames and trounce mighty foes to get back home.

Author's Note: this story follows a style like Mario Party and may follow like a story mode. If it sounds weird at points, trust me, it'll come together.

It is a mere two weeks after the death of the Guardian. From her desert kingdom, Queen Chrysalis das Pupa looks across the sands and sees the ancient home of her people. There is much to do: the borders must be strengthened, the other powers in the world watched carefully, and her own heir brought into line with her vision. A queen must appear to be invincible and all-knowing, but without realizing it, Chrysalis is destined to get some very good help. Just... not exactly the kind of help she anticipated.

(Author's Note: This is the first of the stories I decided to call the "Side Game" stories. They're related to my main work Game of Worlds, and meant to provide details and stories about things that cannot be lingered on extensively in an over 300k word work, but I think would be fun to tell a story about. You don't need to read the big story, although some of these things are going to be a little out-of-left-field otherwise, and they won't spoil anything about the main story. After another defeat at the hooves of Celestia, Chrysalis comes across two dead dragons and a cracked egg. She takes the egg and hatches it believing it could be the weapon she needs against the ponies of Equestria. However, as the dragon grows, learning from his brothers Thorax and Pharynx and with the attack on Canterlot approaching, Spike will leave home to discover for himself whether he will follow his mother's orders or try peace as his brother argues for.

Chrysalis is desperate and alone. She’s been cast out of her own hive, and her plan to use dark magic to steal the elements of harmony has ended in disaster. Just another failure in a long line at this point. Now, she’s completely alone in the Everfree Forest. With how bad things have been going for her lately, it seems like Chrysalis has nowhere to go but down. and this nearby cave should serve as a suitable shelter from the approaching thunderstorm, what could go wrong?

Follow the former queen of the changelings as she goes on a bizarre journey through a sprawling cave complex, and uncovers a hidden world deep underground. She’ll encounter faces both new and old, experiment with unorthodox magic, and finally determine who she truly is.

Story is set a few weeks after Chrysalis creates the Mean Six and her plan to steal the Elements of Harmony fails, leaving her to go crazy while alone in the Everfree Forest.

Story update schedule is at least one chapter every month until it's done. This will allow me to keep a consistent schedule without burning myself out. The first few chapters will be released from my backlog with a shorter time frame between releases until the backlog is all released.
