Yes, the title is a play on "A Midsummer Night's Dream." No, I don't know why the alliteration - it just felt funny to do.

Approaching the end can be scary. Not knowing what's after, what will become of all those you hold dear. With the encouragement of a kindred spirit of chaos, Discord decides that in facing the end, he won't let something go unsaid. Something he should have told someone near and dear to him a long time ago. He just needs a little advice first.

Dipper "Alcor" Pines has lived a very, very, very long and extraordinary life. Ever since he was turned into a dream demon during the events of The Transcendence, he's had to fight off crazed monster hunters who've kidnapped and tried to kill his family, other demons with ill-intent, and even an evil, twisted version of himself and his sister. Author's Note: So after the epic Gravity Falls finale that was Weirdmageddon, and the welcome surprise of MLP's season 6 starting, I got inspired to write this. Hope you like it! Also, to those wondering about Daring Do and the Order of the Eagle, yes, I do plan on continuing it and fixing those first chapters. But I currently have writer's block for it, unfortunately, as well as other projects, so that might take a little while.

Shortly after the fall of both Equestria and the sustainment of the Polyverse, Twilight Sparkle is burdened with new responsibility as both ruler and mediator as she watches her home fall apart to war before her eyes. Now with no other choice left, she is forced to ally with an old foe who isn't too keen on the quest. But once an old friend tags along, suddenly things don't seem so bad.

Only when her memories are wiped by a mysterious parasite, and the truth is really revealed, does Twilight truly understand the seriousness of the situation.

SPOILERS for the 9th Season

First she was defeated in Canterlot, then she lost her hive and finally the clones she made of the ponies who ruined her life turned on her and got turned into pieces of wood. Chrysalis hasn't had the best luck ever and when things couldn't get worse, she finds out that Twilight and her friends will soon be the new rulers of Equestria.

Seems that nothing will ever go her way, but it will all be worth it soon, hopefully. All she can do is come up with the next plan and it all starts with a mysterious journal she found in the Everfree Forest.

Not all unicorns are princesses of friendship, and this newcomer unicorn is certainly not. Still, Celestia feels it is her duty to be welcoming, patient, and gracious to Equestria's most recent guest.
...it doesn't last long.
