This is a collection of short stories that take place in the cold of winter, centring on characters interacting with the season and what it brings. The stories are disconnected from one another save for those themes.

The intended fourth story has been cut because I disliked the final product and am not willing to post it. I apologise.

Each story will have their own genre and character tags and a quick synopsis in their author's notes, and the anthology is given the highest rating of the stories it contains. Each chapter title has a letter that denotes the rating I would give that story.

With her mentor away for the holidays, Twilight must spend Hearth's Warming Eve alone. As her sadness begins to get the better of her an unexpected visitor changes her night.

When Twilight discovers a strange book in her castle's library, she shows it to the rest of the Mane 6. Little do they realize that this particular book will send them on a journey across a strange land filled with unusual creatures. Here they will meet a Gelfling named Jen, who they must help on his journey to restore his world.

When Twilight and Starlight invented a new way to fly they invite Trixie, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, CMC, Tempest, Shining Armor, Big Mac, Spike and Sunburst. With all of them flying with jetpacks permanently strapped to their backs. And they don't have to walk anymore.

Shadow the Hedgehog was created to be the Ultimate Life Form. One day, while working with Sonic and his friends to once again fight Dr. Eggman, the mad doctor uses the Chaos Emeralds to send Shadow to another world. In EG World, Sunset Shimmer is looking to expand her circle of former-villain friends. Then, in a bright flash of light, an anthropomorphic black and red hedgehog appears on the school’s football field. Sunset decides to take in the strange creature. As she learns more about Shadow and his past, she comes to see the pain that some villains and former villains have to deal with. Enjoy this story of healing and friendship.

Hearth's Warming songs. Aren't they just the most annoying things ever? Sure, some of them may sound good the first time around, but see if anything still holds up after the hundredth repetition. The gramophone stand sure won't, especially once somepony lands the well-earned kick. And yes, this latest specimen is a fairly new composition, but Twilight already hates Hearth's Warming Wham! on a level usually reserved for falsified scientific proofs. Since nopony is going to be playing anything except holiday songs for the next moon...

And yet Twilight is convinced that it's possible for her to reach the holiday itself without ever having to hear that 'song' again. She's willing to make a wager on that.

She's wrong, of course. That's the fun part.

Sunset nearly loses everything to one of the stupidest things that's ever happened to her. However, in spite of how dumb all of it was, it continues to eat away at her. She knows it shouldn't, but she can't stop the feeling on her own.

Thankfully, she doesn't have to do it on her own.
