Hiya, lovely peeps!
On May 25th, I wrote a blog post about my theory of Twilight’s alicornhood. I said that destiny gave Twilight her wings, not Celestia. Today, I have another theory, still concerning Princess Twilight Sparkle. In short: Twilight is not immortal. That’s right. She’s not!
Here’s why.
I really really hope that because her alicorn form in glowing and transparent is because it's fake and temporary.
If not then I'm pretty sure it's just writers probably going lazy and choosing a very easy route. They probably didn't want to create a whole arc/seasons of Sunny becoming worthy of becoming an alicorn so they just gave it to her.

Why didn't anypony tell me about it? It's been up for a month and I didn't even know. I could have missed it.
Finally decided to work on getting all my ideas sorted and written down into my reference docs I use to write the actual stories I intend to release. Boy do you collect a lot of new information and things in about a good year...been working for 8 hours the last couple of days and I think I´m about half done. Well buck!
Alicorns, as a rule, aren't born. Princess Twilight was born Twilight Sparkle the Unicorn. Princess Mi Amore Cadenza was born Cadance the Pegasus. The Royal Sisters... well, Celestia's being cryptic and Luna's keeping mum. But they agree that this has never happened before, so let's take it as a given that neither of them was a born Alicorn either. So where does Princess Flurry Heart fit in?
I'm going to be out for a week and won't be able to post for a while. As for when I'll post again, I'd say around 1-2 weeks from now. I won't be able to work on my story while I'm on this break because I'll be busy, but I will try to resume as soon as possible. There's your brief explanation for the coming delay.

As a tweak to the canon, it turns out that Celestia and Luna were not the only alicorns... They're just the only ones who didn't go insane or evil. They had eight siblings, mares and stallions, who were all alicorns but fell apart when faced with the challenges of their powers or life in general. Luna and Celestia sealed them up before they could do any real harm and gradually they were forgotten...
This post has to do with the new season of My Little Pony and does contain some information about it. Not exactly spoilers in itself to me (especially since Flurry Heart was shown to be an alicorn in the advertisements), but just in case, it will be below the break.
Sorry, this took so long, in truth, this has been done for months now, but I had to wait for the proper time. Annoyingly enough when the proper time came my internet went down yesterday.
