Among other things, the corona virus has also delayed the publication of fics that are ready for release already, for several months. Which means it is finally time to get these releases moving and so, I finally present to you my First Fic Release of 2020!
Part 65 - Channel Change is the first of a two-part grand finale that I originally wrote as one large chapter, but decided that 30k words was a little much for a single chapter, even an ending one. Aside from the usual edits and cleanup, smoothing things out and putting in some additional detail and dialog, there is one major update to the chapter.
Yes, you heard that right, I'm starting a new series of stories based in a timeline where Canterlot fell, the princesses vanished, the main six have vanished. What makes this different from my other timelines, for one thing, this is based in present-day Equestria, with Month 0 covering the very thing that starts this timeline and yes, just my other saga it will take place in the Darklightverse, to be more accurate for the ones that have been wondering this is what happened to the world Twilight
Well, I did it again..... Writing on the holidays to save my goal. Which cannot be completely saved anymore now, I am falling short by one story for my December and end-of-the-year writing goal that was supposed to get released today at the latest, as it is a dedicated New Year's Eve story. One that I already wanted to write and release last year, but I focused too much on the dumb virus and that somehow messed with my writing plans for the entire year of 2020.
Greetings, my fellow readers and calendar dwellers. The grand moment has come..... My last next two fics have been released! One of them is the long-awaited "Critter Snow Day", my ponified reinterpretation of the movie "Groundhog Day", I'm talking about for months now.
#2 on the list is my second fic for Silverstream, a long and on-going multi-chapter fic with the title "The Marvelous, Life-Changing Discoveries of Silverstream, the Hippogriff".
Although I've written about this story and why it came into being in the Author's Notes section, I'm going to talk about it a bit here.
