So I don't just write, I also dabble in art. Most of the cover art you see on my stories was made by myself, for example.
That said, currently, WeLoveFine is hosting an MLP Fan Forge contest dealy where anyone can submit a design and the designs with the most votes go into circulation as real merchandise. So I decided to give it a shot, and have created and submitted my own design (featuring Thorax), which you can see at the following link:
Raven was shuffling the papers she had been assigned to reorganize in the school’s massive filing cabinet when she heard the rustle and swish of cloth coming down the hall to the main offices. She turned around—expecting to find a student or parent standing at the desk—and was confronted instead with the sight of Vice Principal Luna in a full Victorian-style dress complete with ruffled lace and corset. The VP was even wearing elbow length gloves and had some sort of dark colored tiara
Okay, I'm just curious here, but do any of you know of any animation programs that can be bought cheap, or better yet, for free and that are easy to learn how to use and understand. I'm only asking because I want to make better animations, as you can see from the video below my animation needs work.
So, any suggestions?

Can't sleep. Nope. Not much sleep for this Draconequus! Not a wink!
Stomach still won't calm down but that's my fault, can't complain about that one. Much. Let's see... Got work in about less than four hours, so it'll be another long...LONG day.
As it is I have to a put some buckshot in my old external hard drive, which broke so utterly and completely that trying to yank it out of the enclosure and stick it in my computer broke my computer. I had to reinstall my OS. Twice.
Perhaps I'll use explosives. Or build a railgun. I am an angry nerd with everything he needs to make one.
But yeah here, this is what I've been up to.
The alternative title for the message I got regarding my new story. Oh, and I submitted a new story. Huzzah~
Now, if you excuse me, I gotta go work on a lab report that's due on Monday.
I didn't really realize what I was writing about when I wrote In the Dark of the Wood. I wanted to write something before the year was officially over, and for some reason I had an Applejack itch. I started looking through the impressive gallery of NCMares, an artist who I knew was A) one of my favorites and B) did a lot of Applejack, knowing I'd hit my inspiration when I saw it. I hit on the cover art for the piece, and in the terrifying, only semi-consensual way that my brain works,
To all of you:
Very weird, but SFW. Unless your work has something against absurdism and clay
Well. Streaming. I've been thinking about doing streams for my writing, where I just work on writing and you all can watch me type if you want. Of course, periodically updating a google doc that you all would have access to. First story that I'd be writing for would probably be Shimmering on, seeing as I have a good amount of that chapter ready for y'all.
Question therein being, would anyone rather I use Twitch or Picarto?
Need a short break between chapters sure. That's to be expected since 9000 words wasn't what I was planning on. But also this weekend I'm going to be pretty much alone in my house.
You'd think that'd be completely perfect for a writing environment and yes it is, but I also have to take care of two dogs- one who is really really simple and easy to take care of, and one who isn't.
I was just told about this by a fellow author, and needless to say I’m shocked, flattered, but still shocked. I don’t recall anyone asking me if they can post an audiobook about my story, don’t get me wrong, this is kinda cool and this YouTube user IS giving me credit, but it would’ve been better if they asked first.
So I reiterate; was anyone else informed of this???
Welcome to the first in a series of self-reflective blogs regarding my writing process and assorted trivia. The title translates to either "Chronicle of Suffering," or "Chronic Pain." I don't know which, but both seem equally appropriate.
Season 7 has been confirmed and in about one more year, we'll be getting the theatrical movie. Will it be the end of pony as we know it or will the series continue on in a different form?
Too much speculation. Get what we do know below the break.
If you haven't seen part 1, check this out.
Also, new fanfic on the way! Totally unrelated though.
In the nearby bushes
“This is it!” Pinkie Pie hissed frantically, barely keeping her voice within whisper volume levels. She grabbed Luna with her hooves, shaking the Moon Princess vigorously. “I told you my romantic picnic plan would work! Can this pony plan a party for two or can this pony plan a party for two?!”
So, things have been... eh, it's a long story.
Needless to say, it's been a while and beyond a few posts a year ago I haven't done much on the "getting pony things to the public" front. Part of that was that I was actually writing stories, but becoming discouraged with the feedback the pre-readers were giving me. A few times I was even told the basic frame of the story was flawed more or less beyond repair. So I gave up on those stories, letting them languish in Gdocs forever.
I'm working on a new story, called Immortality. It's graciously inspired by the famous story "My Roommate's a Vampire", which, if you haven't read, is worth a shot! When i say graciously inspired, i only mean certain characters are inspired by it, but not all aspects of the story. For example, the lore and history i put in my story is completely new! I wanted to add some spice to the dish, so that way, there's still at least some originality to it!
