Done It Again (and other things as of 11/2016) · 9:54pm Nov 12th, 2016

So apparently even though I still have some mixed feelings about the fact that it of all stories was first to do so, "Overlooked" hitting the feature box seems to have worked to my favor, as it seems to expanded the number of readers likely to read my future works.

Flying Fox (bat) Educational Blog (long) and a word on Movie Night being Updated Within a Week. · 4:16am Jan 18th, 2019

I was going to update Foolers Rush In when I realized that basically everything involving the forest was written wrong and I'd need to rewrite a significant portion of the story to make it better. What's wrong with it, you may ask? The forest itself is... kinda boring. Yeah, the Highborne thestrals are all well and good and Juniper is kind of a mustache-twirler but she does her job. She's serviceable. What I really can't stand though is how empty and useless the forest is. After talking things

A Survey Concerning "Grief" and the Editing Thereof · 5:41pm Mar 9th, 2020

So if you've been following my blog for awhile, you've probably caught wind that I've been working on a sort of "final edit" of "Grief is the Price We Pay." To clarify, this edit would leave the core plot of the story mostly unchanged (so yes, the ending and the events concerning it would remain largely the same), however, it would:

"Grief is the Price We Pay" -- Short Delay Ahead! · 11:28pm Jun 21st, 2017

Since starting "Grief is the Price We Pay," I've successfully been able to post new chapters regularly on a Monday/Friday schedule, thanks to planning ahead and always having a notable buffer of six to ten completed chapters between the posted chapter and the chapter I would be presently writing. I've been able to maintain that schedule for far longer than I feared, to my great joy, and I was starting to think that

Writing Commissions · 10:37pm Aug 31st, 2020

So this is a subject I've been mulling over for some time now, and at this point it's just time to say screw it and announce that I'm tentatively opening up writing commissions.

I want to say this is for a nobler reason like forcing myself to become a better writer or looking to hone my craft, but I'd be lying.

Truth is I've hit a really rough patch thanks to a certain pandemic and really need the money.

The Changeling at Fly Leaf's · 8:01pm Oct 26th, 2022

So you know how I had said I wouldn't be writing a sequel to "Grief is the Price We Pay?"

Well, I'd argue that is still the case, because in terms of continuity this is, technically, not a sequel. :raritywink:

To The Readers of "Grief is the Price We Pay," or Anybody Interested in the Thorxie Ship Really · 11:02pm Feb 14th, 2020

Today's Valentine's Day! To celebrate, I had originally planned to release a relevant fic today. However, after taking a large change in approach to said fic and now in the process of rewriting it, it's obviously not going to be ready in time. But considering that my past two fics, both posted earlier in the month, also feature that romance tag, I'm not too especially worked up about it. :rainbowlaugh:
