Possible Delays Ahead · 8:05pm Feb 4th, 2018

So of course, right when I only have two more chapters to go on "Grief," we hit this point...

But first, some backstory: for the past few months my real-life financial situation has been a bit...stingy. I've still been getting by fine for most of that time so long as I count the pennies and all, but more recently it's been fairly slow at my job lately and I haven't been working as many hours as I have in the past, which means less total income altogether. And after taking stock of the bills I had to pay off this Saturday evening, I realized my saving have gotten dangerously low, and it'll be frightfully close on whether or not I'll still be able to pay rent for this month...and that's not accounting for next month.

Basically, I need to do something to get a bit more income here, and quickly.

Fortunately, I have a few options available to me that I can try and will hopefully stave off the situation turning catastrophic, but to do them, that means I'll have less time to write. And as I don't have the remaining two chapters for "Grief" written as of yet (the buffer of completed chapters ran out finally a few chapters back but as we were so close to the end, I figured I could manage without and thus far have), this means that I may not have them ready to be posted at the usual scheduled times.

Of course, I will still try to get them together and posted at the usual times still if at all possible, but if Friday goes by and there's no new chapter, this is so you all are aware as to why.

Hopefully circumstances can turn around soon, at least long enough that I can get "Grief" out of the way and I don't have that weighing on my conscience too. Best of luck to me then, eh?

As usual, thank you for your patience and understanding.

Take care of life first! Life is always a priority.

Take care of yourself, evil man. <3

Real life always comes before fanfic, dude. I've had to deal with that many a time. Good luck getting everything together!

Take care of yourself then come back.

I hope your financial situation gets better in the future. I know the pain of this burden too. I wish you the best for the future and that this nasty issue gets resolved in a good way for you. As others pointed out real life has first priority.

I hope and pray that you financial situation will improve. Life comes before stories.

May God go with you
