Welp. · 6:51pm Jul 13th, 2015

So, the laptop problem isn't Google, its CPU? I think? I noticed my CPU was reaching max when the random shut offs occurred, but it also happened when I was barely using it.

I'm not completely sure of the problem, and my friend hasn't responded to my Skype messages asking about it. Apparently her Skype is messing up, but still, I had another friend contact her differently, and she still hasn't tried to reach me.

MLP Movie Trailer · 2:57am Jun 29th, 2017

Now that's got me hype. Maybe there's all the amazingly detailed squish faces that are kind of weirdly adorable or the whole worldbuilding thing. This movie looks good.

The noise I made when I saw there would be seaponies in this here thing, bird pirates, Sia pony which is literally just Sia as a pony that's the weird thing to be honest, but humanoid cats are a thing and weird monkey? looking guy.

[rant] please ignore this if you are not in the right mental state for reading about others' mental health and stuff but I am so angry right now · 1:57pm Jun 14th, 2023

Okay, the rational part of me wants you to read that massive long disclaimer again. If you are not in the right mental state for reading about others' mental health and the problems in their lives, stop now and go read some happy horse words or talk to some friends or go do whatever you need to do to help you feel better. Please. I don't want you to read this and go away feeling even worse than you did before just because I'm having a bad day.

Thunk.

The floor creaked beneath her feet. Distant, metallic screeches echoed through her skull, almost drowning out her muted humming. Her small fingers tightened around the fragile glass of the cup she held, unwilling to let it come shattering to the floor. A dim corridor terminated her path ahead—three doors. Faint voices echoed from behind the one to her left.

The Civilization Problem, or Why I Don't Love Equestria Anymore · 11:14pm Jun 18th, 2017

One of my problems with FIM as it is now is Equestria itself. As much as I hate to echo the sentiments of a certain infamous author here, I do feel that the show has suffered from the shift in how it's presented Equestria as a setting; in Season 1 in particular, it came off as more of an ambiguous fantasy world with a few unique locations and ill-defined geography. There were references to places like "Los Pegasus" and such, and quite a few anachronisms, but those were done either for a quick

I love podcasts. They're like audiobooks with character and panache. They range from funny to serious, light-hearted to grim, fictitious to factual. Plus, they're really convenient entertainment for long road trips, cleaning the house, or being sat next to weird Uncle Jim at Thanksgiving. Here's a list of some of my favorite podcasts, along with a short description. If you see one you like, why not give it a go?

Not A Winner (Slight Vent) · 4:08pm Mar 7th, 2021

Well, once again, I entered a writing contest, and would you look at that? Not one single mention of my story. I don't know why, it might be because it was rated Teen when most of the others were Mature. Maybe I'm not as good of a writer as I thought I was. Or maybe I shouldn't even bother writing stories for contests.

Boredom · 8:55pm Jul 11th, 2016

Sometimes, I get so bored that I drink. I'm saving the last of the whiskey for my love. :heart:I tried three seconds of tequila and it was pretty good. It didn't have the same effect as whiskey so I made myself a cosmopolitan. It tasted delicious! It still didn't give me the desired effect so I gave myself two seconds of tequila. That shit tastes so much better than whiskey. The only problem was that my insides burned when I sneezed.:twilightoops: Here's the recipe for the

Happy Monday, folks! I’m actually writing this on Sunday, in an effort to actually have something done ahead of time; I’m actually hoping to spend Monday trying to work on one of my own stories, trying to get something up towards a real first draft done, so I can actually publish a story. If only I could decide which one to focus on…

Ah, well. In the meantime, enjoy some reviews of some recent tales.
