Now that's got me hype. Maybe there's all the amazingly detailed squish faces that are kind of weirdly adorable or the whole worldbuilding thing. This movie looks good.
The noise I made when I saw there would be seaponies in this here thing, bird pirates, Sia pony which is literally just Sia as a pony that's the weird thing to be honest, but humanoid cats are a thing and weird monkey? looking guy.
Shit there's like two or three new kingdoms probably right there and Emily Blunt playing a badass unicorn with a broken off horn with a cool airship of evil? It's like they saw inside my dreams and thought we could make a feature length shiny movie out of this.
I still like evil unicorn though cause her name is Commander Tempest and she's just so cool. Its like they put in a completely serious character and thought "we sure liked Edge of Tomorrow/Live, Die, Repeat (cause naming your movie one thing in theaters and another thing on video so works. . .another rant for another time) and wanted that badass fun in a movie with pastel plushy ponies.
I may have watched this trailer like ten times. I love this. Sure its not the animation style of the show but its so pretty.
