So let me start with something that's pretty much common knowledge. Sonic crossovers in general are… much maligned in a good portion of this fandom, to say the least. Probably due in no small part to the fact that most of them are not very good at all. One of the main reasons I finally decided to do my own. I’ve personally waded through a lot of crappy ones over the years, each one annoying me more than the last. Either I really adore the different themes they have mixing, or I'm just a glutton
As we tick down the last few days in this month, I find I have a couple Patreon blogs to still get out, my last being this one regarding a not terribly great Star Wars Legends/EU book. Nova
I’ve had the flu all this week, but it means I’ve had time to read a few more stories lately, so today I’ll be looking at three stories that recently made a big splash on the Featured Box: “Numbers,” “Sum of Their Parts,” and “Mrs. Robinson’s Stand.”
And so it begins! From here on in, I'm going to publish my reviews on Thursdays. I'm coming to really like Thursdays, as they are by far the easiest of my work days. Usually I'm done in 3-4 hours, and the only reason I'm not out of the office faster than that is because of a meeting we have to attend at 9:30 that takes up around an hour of our time. At any rate, Thursday is essentially my 'catch up' day, so let me get started, no?
