Some of you may have realized that this August will be the 10 year anniversary of Rainbow Factory. The story, specifically, was released August 19 2011.
Being back in the fandom for such an auspicious occasion, I feel like I should capture the moment, celebrate, or do something special.
I’ve had a couple ideas but I’d like to know what my followers think would be a fun or interesting thing to do on August 19. So... what do you think? Any ideas?
...the Device will reawaken, hungry again...
Sorry, this is late this time, but I’ve been so tired recently.
But today, I finally went to sleep and got up at a reasonable hour, so I’m doing this.
Yes, Reinn is my ponysona, and that name arose because the creator is terrible at names and decided to reshuffle hers to make a new one.
This is Grammer a Week, the periodic blog program-thing where I soapbox about a grammar subject I find interesting. You might, too! This week's installment definitely errs more on the side of "interesting" than "useful" because I'm talking about the word "pegasus" today. What do you think the plural form of the word "pegasus" is? "Pegasuses"? "Pegasi"? That question is actually much harder to answer than you may think.
Cherry remembers working a job as auxiliary sniper to the NCR Army, against the Herd, at Big Rock City. There was a unicorn he went drinking with a lot, in between cross-river skirmishes. Then the Herd surged through the City, and he never saw the unicorn again.
A dream. He's revisited by the spirit of the unicorn, who died in the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment's counter-charge against the Herd's center.
Well, the story of my play yesterday was the story of pocket queens--they hated me. I lost $200 on a cash game when I got all-in with pocket queens against pocket fours and a four hit the board for three of a kind--meaning I lost a hand I started a 4 to 1 favorite against. So instead of doubling up to $400, I ended up busting out and walking away.
I'm leaving. Everything has gone wrong this trip from late flights to a broken room TV and clogged bathtub drain, and yesterday was the worst. I played twice and lost both times in minutes, putting me down another $350. The first time, I twice confused 5000 chips with 500 ones and made unintentional raises (once the chips are bet, you can't take them back) that ended up costing me my entire stack; on the final hand my straight was beaten by a full house. The second time, I made a foolish
No success to report. Opened with a C-note on craps and lost it pretty quick--it's amazing how unfriendly dice can be at times. Then again, success at that seems rare for me. After that, I gorged on the breakfast buffet, took a four mile walk upstrip towards the Stratosphere and back to walk it off, then walked further to the Aria to see what tournaments they were offering. Nothing that interested me, so I hopped a cab to the Rio for my first WSOP action. The events opened this very week,
Followers of mine may remember the series of blog posts I did covering pony weapons and combat; one each for pegasi, unicorns, and earth ponies. (And
I know I'm not the only one, but I get into these depressed and miserable funks where I basically can't function. I feel worse than garbage. I usually get through them, but I'm worried I won't one time. :/
Hopefully, Fleetfoot can bring a better disposition than I.
Hey guys,
Chapters 8 and now 9 are out,
And with that out of the way, I'm minutes away to check the ''complete'' tag on ''A Pegasus Promise''. It was my biggest project and now it's complete. I can't tell you how happy I am and I hope you had fun getting to the end of it.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart to gave my story a chance. I'm not much of an author but I had an interesting idea that I tried to put into words. I hope you will somehow love the ending.
Hi everyone,
I didn't post the next chapter yesterday because I'm waiting for the illustration that is supposed to come with it.
I'm just missing this piece, chapter 8 is done and reviewed, and by May 15th, I'm pretty sure that chapter 9, the last chapter, will be done as well. So, I expect one last big release on the 15th of May.
So stay tune for the two last chapters of A pegasus Promise, they will be released soon enough.
Stay safe. :)
I've just added a commissioned picture to A Steady Heart - part 3. SunnyWay did a gorgeous pic of Steady and Mark flying together on their date. Here it is for your convenience.
Review #100!!!!! I'm so happy. That I'm this far is all because of you guys, I hope you know that. Anyway, I decided to do some celebration fics today, because, well, I'm celebrating.
