I looked at my stories for the first time in a while, and realized I kinda left you guys hanging after the Hero Souls update. So I just wanted to sit down and take a moment to explain to you why I suddenly vanished off the face of the planet.

My laptop’s ‘a’ key still refuses to work half the time without stern reprimanding, so that’s fun to put up with.
...I have 11 unread chapters (not much, since I did manage to read a few stories that had short chapters, but these range between 4k and 12k words) and 34 fucking stories on my read it later bookshelf.

Before I begin, let me reinforce this: I AM FINE. Late last night as I was coming home, my vehicle lost traction on the road and sent me into the median guard rail, shearing off the bumper, headlights, maybe the radiator I don't know. I proceeded to bounce off of it and back across the road to the right hand shoulder where I was left facing oncoming traffic, though I wasn't entirely in traffic. My car still runs, I guess, and I was able to get turned around and out of traffic entirely. Five

It's been a while sense you heard from me. I've been working about 100 hours a week at my new job, but that's finally starting to come under control so I should be able to get back to writing and writing related tasks in the near future. I've looked a little at the things I have and I have been writing a lot for work so I don't think my writing skills will have degraded that much.

So guess what? I'm fucking screwed again because my employer doesn't pay holiday pay and I fucked up my back a couple of weeks ago. Add to that the fact that my employer has also elected to go with an insurance system which required me to pay my insurance premiums out of pocket and yeah... End result: not enough money to pay bills.

So um... this happened.
Been a while since one of these, but I had the idea and I plan on running with it, especially since this is one aspect of my headcanon that’s more or less managed to survive both the show and my own failure to write down background ideas outside of story notes. Today I’ll be discussing everything I derived from major pony holidays, leading up to what I feel will be a very interesting question that I don’t think anyone has posed as of yet.
It took Familial Words, my previous most-liked story, over two years to get to 70 likes, and half of those only came about because I wrote a sequel.
Gone With the Light surpassed that mark in two days. Two. Days.
Over the last little while I have seen some disturbing behaviors especially in my PM’s and I want to set some ground rules.
