Hello again! Been way too long, hasn't it?
Hello again! Been way too long, hasn't it?
Dinner Dash was going to die. This he was fully convinced of, for around him from all angles came angry blasts of thaumic energy, vengeful volleys of swift arrows, ravenous swarms of parasprites, and the otherworldly shriek of mortar shells. Those were supposed to be illegal. The GELPNO (Greater Equus, Let's Play Nice, Okay?) Treaty was signed into law 576 years ago. After the catastrophic destruction witnessed during the War of Daisies and Oats, even the most callous of nations
First of all, for those on you wanting an update on MLAABQ, lemme just quickly tell you that chapter 15 looks like it's gonna be out next Friday (clarification: that means this Friday), with around 10k words. End of MLAABQ-news.
Now:
So... I'm halfway through writing the next chapter, and I'm wondering, is there anyone actually reading my stuff?
Is there anyone enjoying it?
And what can I do to improve?
Fimfiction?
*Knock, Knock, Knock*
Do you wanna read my fanfiiiiic~!?
Come on let's go and read!
I hardly see feedback anymore,
come out the door.
It's like they've gone away.
we're totally best buddies,
and now I write.
I wish I could tell you whyyyy~!
Do you wanna read my fanfic?
It doesn't have to be a slash fic.
Fimfiction: Lucky, go away.
Okay, Byeeeee.
So I’m going to more or less get straight to the point with this one. I’ve been writing for around two years now, and I struggle with getting any kind of regular comments on the majority of my stories. It’s starting to get to me a lot more than it used to, and I really just need feedback. Writing is my way of relieving stress from my day to day life, and life’s been rougher than usual lately. As a result, I’ve been getting more attached to my writing than I usually am. I’ve been trying so hard
Hello, every pony it is officially Feburary, and we've survived the first month of 2021. Today, I don't have an interview for you all, however I do have a promotion, and a few things I'd like to say. Without further ado here we go.
This has actually happened! More than once!
Me being asked for advice on writing. Who would've thought?
So a new chapter, and as of the moment of writing this: twenty one upvotes, three downvotes. It's better than when I got up this morning, but still, tut tut. Seven to one? Can’t have that. Gotta step up my game for the next chapter
Aileron. I've talked about it for the past year or so in the occasional blogpost, aye? For better or for worst, it's going to hit Fimfic sometime this summer. I'm currently working with an artist regarding cover art, I've been working through editing stages and fixing scenes that had to change back when I removed a major plotpoint, but it's getting there.
Quick update.
You may know I tried to submit Pharynx Goes Monster Hunting to Equestria Daily. Well, after a month or so, as expected, I got a response.
Today’s chapter update is a little shorter and more slice of life, but it at least sets up a couple of motivations for a character that’ll come back in later. I’ve also updated some of the tags to better reflect the story, and the rating’s been changed because ultimately it didn’t really need a teen rating, which was just a holdover from its original incarnation. As always, I’m always looking for feedback so feel free to give it a read and tell me what you thought of it!
Hey guys! Hasn't been long, but I have news on the story.
So to start off, I've gone through all of the starting chapters (1-4) and edited them to be more up to par with what I want. Before, they were missing much detail and intricate tid-bits that were, in my opinion, much needed. It makes the story a lot more immersive and "hooks" the reader, as the first few chapters should.
Hey there, everyone. The upcoming story is already done, but before I start publishing it, I need some feedback to tell me what needs to be fixed as a whole. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anyone else to help me, so I decided to make a blog to ask if anyone would want to help me. If not, then just tell me why and I'll stop asking entirely as well as just publish it anyway.
Update time! Episode two, titled Blackout, will not be posting tomorrow. It’s about halfway done, though, so look for it next week. What’s episode two about? Well, it involves a new job (shocker!) and … the Mexican Orbital Elevator?
So I have posted the first story I have ever worked on, and I require feedback if you would be so kind. I have no idea how this will turn out, but I plan to make this story part of a new series of sorts, all stories featuring Axel. Also, if you don't get how the book works or the potential it has, it should all be explained in the future.
Anyways, enjoy!
Have a nice day!
In an earlier post, years ago by now I am certain, I discussed some other story ideas I wanted to try out. One of these was what I called "A Ratio Approaching One," where certain scenes/episodes of FiM were re-imagined in an Equestria where the ratio of mares to stallions was closer to 1:1. A different take from the usual Rule 63 story where it's all flipped for everyone. The main point was to explore the different social dynamics that would be brought about if only some of the cast were born
WARNING!
MIGHT POSSIBLY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE SESQUEL!!
DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT ANYTHING RUINED!!
So the closer we come to the ending of this current story, the more I am starting work and planning for it's sequel. One of the ideas I have been playing around with lately is the question to how they got to Daniel's human world, our world.
Now, this can have multiple answers, and one of these possibilities is this one.
