Yes, it is true, the story is dead. Its not something I like to do to a story people enjoy, but I have really been trying to write the next chapter, but I just never get that spark. With many of my stories I usually have plenty of moments of inspirations and Ideas, but not for this one. So I have part 3 laid out, all ten chapters blocked out and summarized. Hope to have part 3 done in a timely manner so I can post a chapter every week.

In the mean time I'm going to make a new cover for Among the Trotting Dead for part 2 and one for part 3 when that comes out too.

The plan one day is to have cover art for each chapter, but I'm busy making 3D models for Ashes of Equestria so we'll see.

Sorry I vanished like that, I'm sure... that wasn't exactly the best of stories to write before going dark for a while. Hope I didn't leave anyone too worried about me. I was going through a pretty rough and busy patch of my life for a while there, struggling with some things, and it had a dramatic effect on my ability to just... sit down and write.

I'm at Chapter 11 in Dead Space 3. The combat and weapon building have remained consistently tense and fun. The shotgun is amazing.

Good thing too, because the story is mediocre and has never really dragged me in. I'm most intrigued by what happened on this planet 200 years ago rather than Isaac and company's predicament here and now.

And dear sweet Celestia, the love triangle subplot has reached "Punch A Baby" levels of cringeworthy. Good god, Visceral.

I think I just had a nergasm.

Having beat Ori twice, my next backlog game is Dead Space 3.

I was expecting the emphasis on action over horror that so many people detested, so that's enjoyable, but the save and checkpoint system is absolute garbage, and is so incredibly inferior to the Save Stations of the previous two games.

There is no manual saving, and if you quit, you reset at your last checkpoint. Depending on what you're doing, that could be ten minutes ago, or an hour ago.
