Hey folks!
This is not a joke.
Between the show's hiatus and getting Fallout 4 for Christmas, I have neglected my writing to a near-criminal level over the past few months. For that, I am tremendously sorry to all my readers.
The new season of the show (and the fact I've played FO4 through to completion x3 at this point) has spurred me to creativity again. I have had some ideas for my as-yet-unfinished works After the Storm and The Longest Highway, and I will pick up on them again in short order (within the next week or two).
In the meantime, to get myself back into proper writing form, I tossed out a first chapter/prologue of an idea that came to me overnight. I intend to continue it, though not necessarily on a regular basis - I don't have a structured story to tell, just an idea and the feeling that I can come up with things to write for that storyline in the future.
Please take a peek at Penitence if you are so inclined to view yet another story about Sunset Shimmer coming home to own up to her past deeds.
Four legs or two?

Two for one scene then four for the rest.
You were missed!
In that case I'll have a look ;)
How's FO4 by the way? It's going to be a long time yet until I'll have a system capable of running it.
Highway and Storm aren't that far from the subject matter either

I have to admit being underwhelmed by the ending of the main storyline in FO4, but the game mechanics and playing engine makes up for that for me. It's a hell of a lot of fun - I never used to do combat outside of VATS in FO3 and FNV, because it was so hard for me to get a good shot off. In FO4, it's - I don't want to say easier, but it's nowhere near as impossible (IMO) to land a hit on somebody, even from a great distance.
I just wish I could have multiple companions like I could (with a mod/hack) in FNV. Being restricted to one companion for some reason grates on me. Realistically I should be the leader of a band of marauders roaming the wast... er, I mean, I'd really like to have more friendlies around me for some of the quests and fights.
That having been said, the game still has the "I'm gonna stand right in front of you in this doorway, mmkay?" glitches/grievances that previous games did with regards to NPC/companion AI. Especially the dog, but then again dogs are always underfoot for real aren't they?
3841304 Thanks for the description... it seems a worthy successor of FO2 will not be seen in my lifetime. Sounds like fun though; looking forward to playing it someday. At least the dog-in-door problem is consistent since FO1. It's a feature.
haha, I almost believed :P
