Having beat Ori twice, my next backlog game is Dead Space 3.

I was expecting the emphasis on action over horror that so many people detested, so that's enjoyable, but the save and checkpoint system is absolute garbage, and is so incredibly inferior to the Save Stations of the previous two games.

There is no manual saving, and if you quit, you reset at your last checkpoint. Depending on what you're doing, that could be ten minutes ago, or an hour ago.

I ended up writing Return to Sender for a writeoff about Best Laid Plans. My entry? Nonsense about Discord and his cousin screwing up each others' plans.
