And with this week it finally happened again, the thing the show needs these days: A Student Six episode! :D Nine months Seven weeks they left us waiting, but now they have given us another episode focused on the sextet of awesomeness! :D
And what an episode it was! Silverstream and Ocellus were heroes, Yona delivered another one of her punchlines and..... But let's start at the beginning.
Season 8 is finally back and it's already off to an excellent start, with another Friendship School episode! A Friendship School episode in which we see Starlight Glimmer losing it and killing Discord..... What? No, I'm not kidding. This actually happened!
(I have not watched the finale. No spoilers!)
I know there's been speculation over the Young Six being the next Bearers of Harmony, partly from this:
Ponies have speculated that the aura colors indicate which Element each of the Six hold, but...
I’ve updated Trials of the Force again! Chapter 18 is now posted.
So, this episode really wasn't what I was hoping for. I don't hate it, of course, and I still like what it turned out to be. Even love a certain aspect of it, more about that below.
This episode hit all the right chords with me. All of them. It deals with a lesson for life that is important, but underestimated by many in this world, in a society where people are quick with throwing old things away:
Preservation is important to retain the remembrance on those we have lost.
"Starlight Glimmer relishes her role as school councillor and encourages the students to come to her anytime about anything, but she becomes overwhelmed and learns a lesson."
A few days ago, I was rewatching "School Daze" to give the episode some more thoughts, because there is quite a lot to see in it and a lot that invites you to deeply think about it. One sentence in particular stuck out to me:
"Everypony should be prepared to defend our way of life."
So, seeing as there was a lot of interest in What's your problem?, I've decided to use the sequel as an opportunity to play out a few ideas that have been tumbling around in my mind ever since Twilight first introduced the exchange students.
If you ever wondered what Silverstream sees when she looks up into the sky, I can give you an impression now:

It's the return of the Student 6 - I'm sorry, the YOUNG 6, as they are named in the mobile Pocket Ponies game (which is actually really solid). Eh, think I'll stick with Student 6, at least for this post. That's what the fandom mostly uses anyway, so it fits for this post.
I'll preface this by saying I, by and large, have never really warmed to the Student 6. Just bear that in mind.
(WIP)
Guards, and friends, and Diamond Dogs, oh my!
Terramar: Birb. Babe. Birbbabe, I said you're totally hot and suggested that anygriff who totally wouldn't is just gay.
Bet you guys didn’t expect this curveball of an announcement, huh? Well, it’s true. To those of you wanting one of my oldest stories to make a triumphant comeback, your wish has been officially granted by me, your handsome King Magnifico of Rosas-wait a minute. Sorry, I just love Wish way too much. But yeah. I am proud to announce that Star Wars: The Trials of the Force (Part One) will be making a return in 2024 and it is my mission to finish it once and for all. It’s been a long
Only one day left until Silverstream's story continues! Here is another teaser for "The Sky is Gone: Epiphany"!
Something is happening on the surface of the Dark Equestria and the world Silverstream has gotten to know might not be the same anymore once again.....

This took a little longer than expected. I began the day with aching limbs, a result from the hiking trip the day before, had breakfast, did some things and prepared a release. But I suddenly started feeling nauseous from looking at the screen and went for a one hour nap. Then I didn't return from it because I couldn't get up with the remaining exhaustion.
We are back where we left off and continue to follow Silverstream's struggle for survival in an Equestria without light. Or, not exactly where we left off.....
Time has passed for Silverstream since Rumble's death and she is not the same anymore..... Alongside her world, Silverstream undergoes changes as she keeps progressing and discovering and trying to find the last light that might be left in otherwise complete darkness, the light that comes from friendship.
