Welcome to the first of my very own ‘Making of’ series in which I describe the creative process and writing of my stories on FIMfiction. Today, we’re going to be discussing my Zipp/Pipp-centric story titled “Divine Flight.” Let me tell you, a lot of things went into this one. I know I say that for basically all my stories, but for real, this one had a real uncertain lifespan.
Now that the tie-in special has been released, my second order of business upon getting back on this site is finishing the story I promised I would update daily before I dipped. Haven, the sequel to Sanctuary, is making a triumphant comeback and I intend to see it completed. After that, I’ll probably get to work on either of the two Chapter5-set “Dadabittle” fics I have lying around. I’ve been away for far too long, and it’s time that I return to get the creative ship back on

Um…okay. How do I explain this? This is something that I never thought would happen to me, and obviously, there is no excuse for what I did and the fault is entirely on me for not reading the rules more carefully. Let me try and break this down for y’all.

So my G5 defense series that was supposed to be 5 videos is now planned to be an over 3-hour long supercut, so I can defend all of Generation 5 in one video. Not even a couple of hours after I woke up this morning and I’m Not A Princess! has already surpassed 600 views. Holy moly. I am absolutely blown away by this. I haven’t seen this sort of runaway success since Worthless came out last year and took the site by storm.
