Well…what a surprising thing to wake up to, hm? A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one nonetheless.
FaolanCortez finally put out his MASSIVE Make Your Mark Chapter 2 review and it is just amazing. I just cannot thank user LordFlareon enough for recommending his channel to me. It feels so cathartic to have another G5 fan to watch on YouTube, especially at this point in my life. He goes so much in depth with all the episodes and he even touched upon things I didn’t even notice before! I’m also glad he’s finally come around on “Ali-Conned” as I quite enjoy that episode for what it’s trying to say despite the obvious Sunny abuse present. In particular, I did start welling up myself when he got emotional over “Portrait of A Princess” and how it inspired him to patch things up with his own sister. If that’s not a definitive testament to the power of the lessons MLP still is able to teach as a brand, then I don’t know what is. It’s episodes like that that really hammer home how great G5 really is.
Also, can we all just appreciate the absolutely beautiful intro where he just rips cutouts of all the anti-G5 hate videos to shreds? Dear Luna did that feel cathartic to watch as I would want nothing more than to do the exact same thing. I was considering adding a similar gag to my defense video a while back, but I think I’ll just have to stick with the Genie gag in order to avoid plagiarism claims. His videos are ultimately what keep me going on this defense series as despite all the trash takes I’ve had to sit through, despite all the mental breakdowns those takes caused, no matter how much this fandom is sliding downhill due to the overabundance of nostalgia blinding great content creators’ minds when it comes to this generation…if he can proudly say how much he loves G5 and make a whole 2:42:26 minute video explaining why far better than any of the haters can say to the contrary in their own videos, then so can I. And I will keep working on defending G5 and tearing the haters’ points to shreds until the videos are done and released. My Little Pony means too much to me to stop.

And to the rest of you reading this blog post, please watch the video in full when you have the time as it is definitely worth it. Plus, I’m going to ask you all to do the exact same thing that he said in his video. Whether or not you are already subscribed to his channel, if you can go ahead and spam this video and get it to 200 likes, that would be absolutely amazing. I for one would love to see his review on “Winter Wishday,” and I know you all would too. So let’s make it happen!!

Oh, I definitely am. My first cut of the video is six hours long, however. Some ideas do overlap, so maybe I can trim some fat.
As I've said before I'm still personally not the biggest fan of g5 although it does have it's highlights
Although please for the love of Faust don't go to the "official" mlp YouTube channel I'm begging you as that's a completely different rabbit hole you really don't want to go down

I completely agree! His videos have provided a lot of comfort to me and have helped me realise there are still fans of G5, however overshadowed they may be. And after reading some of your blogs and hearing about the hardships you've faced lately, I felt like you could do with the same positivity and have something to turn to when necessary.
