So the last three years I've been writing KOTD, I've always had a deadline. I started off at a week, then quickly found that I was too new at writing to keep that up, so I dropped it to a chapter a month. This has worked out well, but sometimes I just can't hit that quota. Also the idea of "I gotta finish this, I gotta finish this!" stumps my writing energy a lot. Stressing about deadlines, is easily my biggest creative killer. I wrote a new story, and this time, it isn't stupid randomness! It also underwent actual revision, rather than a quick skim and post like I did with almost everything else. It's a serious story about Twilight's sickness, the challenging of her beliefs, and guidance from her former teacher and mother-like figure, Celestia.

Twilight gives Celestia the leading role in a play, despite Celestia's lack of acting talent. Already this comes off weird. Celestia's been a ruler for over a millennium, presumably having talked to thousands of crowds, yet can't get her voice right on stage. I'll give it a slight pass, but this season has had a lot of awkward story beats with characters.
I have added a sixth pony to choose for Twilight. You won't know who it is unless this pony wins. So you can vote for a mystery mare now if you want. It's to make it more interesting.

Every story is backed up at the moment. But I will get the chapters out to you once I finish them. So don't worry because none of the stories are dead, their just backed up at the moment.
