Hey, that's a sight and a half: a new thing published on here that I actually wrote with my own two typing hands. At least, it's new to you guys: this is actually my entry in Everfree Northwest 2018's Iron Author competition, which I cleaned up in July after several months and then promptly forgot to actually post for several more months. It's the product of two hours of frantic typing based on an idea I've been kicking around for a long time (pre-Perfect Pear, even) about what happened to
I'll be at BronyCon. I will be selling and hoofing out these pretties (400+ pages, $20 at con, $25 afterwards):
I will also be hosting a dead dog party Sunday evening for fanfiction authors and readers. I'll post the details here Wednesday night.
EDIT: See next entry!
See you there!
I mean, otherwise, what the hell am I supposed to do with these?
Immediately upon returning home, I was informed that my old dog could no longer walk. He was fifteen years old, and I initially got him as a puppy when I was nine. It was a pretty rough few days. I had no motivation to do much of anything. As a matter of fact, I was so upset about it that I invited my friends over and we drank until we puked by the fire side. To Boomer, born sometime in February 2004 to August 5, 2019. I had my hand on him when they put the needle in. It's a
One of my mates and fellow Sunlight fanatic JWolfSilver is raising money to go to the last Bronycon. This would, I believe, be her first ponycon, and this is the last Bronycon. Unfortunately, she has very little capital. Fortunately, GoFundMe exists. So, if you're a fan of her, want to meet her, want to see me get into a knife fight with her in Quills and
I’ve kind of had this idea in my mind for a while, and figured it was probably time to do something with it, if for no other reason that it’s a great word with a great bit of history behind it. Well, depending on your definition of ‘great,’ but hey.
Howdy folks,
It's been awhile since I've uploaded any new stories, but that doesn't mean I haven't been writing. In fact, I've been writing a ton, and the first drafts for everything are almost done. After editing (which, I could use more of), I'll be able to present you with the results of my storycrafting labor.
Hey friends. Happy Fourth of July! I hope everyone is doing well.
First off, I know it's pretty late, but I wanna say thanks to everyone who read and faved and upvoted and commented (*gasp*) on Starlight Glimmer Battles Existential Dread at Sunrise. I was hoping that I would catch a few readers with a title like that, and it's nice to know that you guys liked the story enough to put it in the Featured Box for the better part of a week.
I've kind've been dead for a bit, haven't I? I usually find something to blog about at least once a month, but I didn't say peep basically all of July. Well, at least that means you guys get a bunch of news and stuff in this blog!
I know this is about a week after all the Cool Kids™ were trading notes on their hoerscon attendance, but since I'm stepping onto a plane tomorrow I might as well do the thing:
I'm attending Bronycon! You'll have a couple of chances to spot the horizon in his natural environment (a hive talking on a writing panel):
And That's How Equestria Was Made!, Friday @ 2 PM, Harmony Plaza Neighborhood Stage
Friday the 11th of August, the first day of the con.
I'm giving / helping give 3 talks / panels / events in the next 2 weeks, at Trotcon and Bronycon:
Humans are weird. Sometimes they like to do painful or frightening things: ride roller-coasters, eat the extra-hot buffalo wings at Duff''s, climb mountains, watch horror movies.
No that wasn't intended to sound dirty. Hush.
A/N: First and foremost, happy Easter! I hope that all of you, whatever your persuasion, are finding hope in this season of growth and rebirth.
As for today’s Highlight, I am going out of order again, but I hope that this Highlight is enjoyable. Unless something else rearranges my plans, “Vendor Hall Completion and Lip Sync Battle” will be the next Highlight to go up.
They're like FiMfiction, only you can still read them after your laptop's battery has died, or when somebody's thrown your phone in a lake!
So, at Bronycon I finally met the guy who basically convinced me to turn The Iron Horse into a legit complex story and briefly edited it (and also did a panel with me, but I'll find that video later). We hung out, drank beer, and he sang this song from "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog."
Alright people i can't attend the last brony con. but never the less I wish everyone to have a blast and keep on ponying. This sucks major balls that not only is this the last one but I dont get to see everyone. I hope this information I'm getting is wrong. Fuck I wish I could make this blog more interesting but I'm still in shock of the news. My last message to y'all that get to go for the last time. Better party fucking hard make it the best event you ever get to witness and stay
SO, I survived Bronycon!
