Tempo Boost Story Poll #7 (June 2023) · 5:14pm Jun 5th, 2023
It's Tempo Boost Story Poll Time again! I'm sorry it's once more a little late, I was too out of it because of too much training and exercise the last five days.
Let's start:
It's Tempo Boost Story Poll Time again! I'm sorry it's once more a little late, I was too out of it because of too much training and exercise the last five days.
Let's start:
...when you get this really good idea for a fan fic--this sort of adventure/mystery sort of tale feature Gallus, Spike, their respective pasts, their presents, and details on certain long-absent family members--but you know, deep down, you really don't have the time to commit to such a project?
Especially when you're me, and are trying (and only kind of succeeding?) to cut back on long-form fanfics?
most likely i'll be putting it up on offprint.net since I'm already familiar with that site myself (despite it being in a VERY beta-y stage still)

Thunderstorm Story is back. I am not yet ready to write daily again after my friend went into distance from me, but I don't want to give up Thunderstorm Story. And I know my friend does not want that I give it up, either. So I will still continue this writing experiment like I intended last year.
Spoilers after the break.
Sorry about the dearth of posts recently. I told myself that I’d get one of my stories done before I did some other pony stuff, and it turns out I’m really, really good at procrastinating.
On the upside, it did finally force me to actually get my story done! I’ve been sitting on it for far too long – in fact, I started on it before the Season 6 premier, and then managed to procrastinate on it for half a year.
But now it is done, and I am pretty happy with the result.
It's barely Wednesday anymore, but here is now Chapter 2 of "Reformation from the Heart", as announced on Sunday!
Alrighty, kids, it's time for another mechanic blog! This time we're gonna talk about a Mazda Miata I worked on nearly 20 years ago, and then a F150 that I worked on just recently.
But first, you know what to do:

What’s up, folks? You all hanging in there?
I gotta admit, I completely forgot about the poll this month..... As this happened, I should extend the voting deadline, but since no one has participated in the polls, so far, I will keep the usual end date of the poll. If you should decide to pledge to my Patreon account this month and still want to participate in the poll, you can send me a private message here or comment under this blog entry with your story
Well, this is an interesting episode. I feel that the premise is a tad arbitrary— much like last week's episode, this is a lesson that Rainbow should already have long learnt. But in spite of that, the imagery is just so good. Holy crud, even when knowing the gist of the plot it was actually pretty exciting. So, as usual, have some thoughts!
I will revise it later on when I'm not wanting to scream my head off about how much research I had to do on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I've seen too much death in one evening.
I'll spare you the wall of text by linking you a google doc that has said wall of text.

But basically it's unbelievable that after this whole year of being desensitized to this circus parade of a presidential election, this is what fucking sends me reeling. Unforgivable.
Why the fuck is my mood going to crap when my life is so much better than it has been in a while? I'm slowly losing my patience. I don't condone bullshit of any kind, and I can only put up with it for so long. I'm angry and crying at the same time and it's making my head hurt. I just want the truth, even if it's something I don't want to hear. I'm a big girl. I don't need things sugarcoated. As long as it's honest, it's OK. Tell me that I'm a bitch, or that I try too hard. It's
"That is IT!" screeched Trixie as she flung a hoof accusingly at nopony in particular. "The GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie has had enough!"
"What's she up to?" whispered Rarity with the most ladylike subtlty she could muster at 9 o'clock in the morning.
Starlight Glimmer shrugged and sipped her coffee. "No clue. Probably best we just let her get it out of her system, though."
A blog entry like this is almost obsolete this year, but for the sake of completion and consistency, here's an obligatory blog entry with my writing plans for 2023.
Just post any sort of music you think is good for atmosphere in a horror fiction.
Even ironic music.
Especially ironic music.
Yeah, kind of like that.
