They Can't All Be Winners (or: Wherein The Author Fails To Follow His Own Advice) · 4:54am Jul 6th, 2017
I've had to re-learn some lessons with my latest story. Gimme a sec and I'll explain.

So, trying to keep on top of the Big Master Review List. It's got almost 20,000 stories on it by nearly 4,000 authors. Which means that sometimes things fall through the cracks. Sometimes small things. Sometimes not-so-small things.
Such as the approximately 100 stories that I apparently added to the list and then never linked a review for. Normally there is a handful, but apparently I haven't checked in a while and holy carp they built up!
A user named Holy has posted a Suicide Note. If anyone has any information as to her wearabouts, please go to Estee's page here and render aid.
I'm so sorry. I was looking over chapter 11 (Amira) and saw this...
Hardly any currently alive were (name for ascended earth ponies) like herself.

I know there are ponies out there who would rather I just finish what I've already started, but that's not what I'm feeling right now. I'm writing a new one, and it's half done. It's already up now. I'm posting it half done, because I'm not 100% sure what I want to do to finish it. I have the ending written out, but I'm debating on expanding it into a longer thing. We'll see how I feel about it. Any feedback on the
A while ago, I posted a blog covering one of my unpublished stories; the ideas that spawned it, aspects of the writing process that did not work, and why I ultimately chose not to finish it.
Today, I hope to do the same with a different story. Each story presents its own challenges and eccentricities. Today’s story is different enough that I hope it will teach different lessons from the previous one.
While I was trying to add to another of my chapters to finish as promised last night, I accidentally pushed Publish instead of Edit, which of course, pushed TMITD: AE&DD into the 'Recently Updated' category. I hadn't meant to do that, but since I did and the chapter wasn't finished, I elected to go ahead and add one of the comment Alts into the mix.
It was always my intention to have Book 1 end this way. Even all those years ago when I first thought up this concept, I knew where I wanted to take it.
Everyone tells you not to compare yourself, and that's a huge truth. But sometimes you're not going to be able to avoid it, so all you can do is avoid the materials that make you compare yourself. Sometimes it's a gut clench reaction that occurs when you least expect it. You think you're completely at peace and comfortable with your own skills, but then you look at someone more popular than you, who does almost the exact same thing as you, and you realize you're not really at peace with it
It’s not a mistake ✨It’s a masterpiece✨
Ten years ago, a spin-off of an astronomically popular My Little Pony cartoon was debuted in the form of a movie.
After multiple movies, shorts, specials, choose-your-own-adventures, and one certain divisive comic with a nebulous place in the timeline at best, it's clear that Equestria Girls was given a ton of love from the folks behind it. Don't even get me started on the love it was given by the fandom!
I don't normally do this, but I began to feel like I had to.
See, there is this thing I get nervous doing sometimes. and that is changing my stuff from the beginning.
+ Why I haven't been active as much as I was.
Scroll past this amazing (Even though a bit small) picture of AppleDash to read the whole post and story progression information!
First of all, if you haven't seen yet, look what updated for the first time in a year! New cover art and everything, I'd never been too big of a fan of the old art, it was never my best... Though I forgot to leave room for the title, oops. I'll figure that out eventually. It's also blurry, for some reason. The art is not like that when clicked on or sourced, however.
Hello, everyone. I have a bit of bad news but a ton of good news related to Wet Behind the Ears. The bad news is I'm unpublishing it for awhile. Apologies to anyone who didn't get to read it yet.
Onto the good news: RexySeven, the owner of the OC in the fic, has already been working on a full-blown comic about her!
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Equestria Girls, I'm posting a new story as part of the Friendship is Worth It series:
What Mistakes Tell Us
For this tale, we are checking in on the girls affected by The Memory Stone Incident as they do what they feel is right to move forward.
It happened again.
It freaking.
Happened.
Again.
Now with Gielinor's Visitor.
You know what's worse? The same thing that happened with my latest chapter of The Anomaly in a Mare's World will happen again.
When I upload the next chapter of Gielinor's visitor for real, you guys will not receive a notification. Why? Because technically, I already published it. By mistake, but I did it anyways.
Like I said. I'm starting to hate my phone.
So, I want to take a moment to talk about the delay on Chapter 7, section 3.
