It was. It may seem unbelievable, but I've had an incredibly similar (if almost identical) conversation with a close friend of mine. It was shocking, to the point, and a bit blunt.
I actually wrestled with how to put in in the story. I went back and forth between it being too blunt and unbelievable for a story, but I figured that since it really went that way I could write it that way.

I wouldn't be writing this story if I was not at least semi-okay with discussing the situation. I also understand that there are all different kinds of people/ponies with all different kinds of viewpoints. So, it's pretty difficult to offend me unless your purposefully trying really hard.
This is cool so far. I wonder if Button Mash really succeeds in killing himself. I hope he doesn't.
