December 10: Mental health ward declares brother 'fine'. He'll try to blow up a TV station two weeks from now. Completely rebuilding house. Have at least dropped out of university. Have not yet made WholesomeRage.

A reader sent me a PM earlier asking if I planned on doing a recap for the series because of the big hiatus, and the answer is YES AND HERE IT IS!
Enchanted Carousel is nearly ready to update soon (...again...) so I think this is a good time to give everyone a refresher and answer any questions y'all might have.
And I took that personally.
Seriously tho. I've been super busy and sadly I haven't been able to make much progress in the next chapter (There is, but not so much.)
It's really annoying when I get piled with IRL stuff, but like I said before, I'll try to update ASAP.

Okaaaaay, so…bad news, the disc might not work for whatever is going on with my laptop, my parents read the reviews on it and no go on that.

Best case scenario; we take it to a tech place and have some guy fix it for us.
Worst case scenario; we buy a new laptop.
IN WHICH I ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING, YAY
So, after Thanksgiving Dinner, which in my family's traditional fashion was held in the early afternoon (I say family, but it was just my mother and me), I got home and promptly passed out for seven hours. Once awake, I decided to try and do some writing. That's what I want to talk about after the jump, if you'll be so kind as to follow...

Sorry this took so long, but this took a while to write.
The new decade, and not much musical change quite yet. In fact, the general status of this year almost seems to be a step back in terms of musical genre diversity. 1960, in total, has fewer genres appearing than 1958 and 1959. The genres are overall less ‘out there’, and even the strangest genres are nothing like Tarentella or Exotica from years prior.
Alrighty, here we go!
1. What was your first fic and could you stand to reread it today?
My first fic was Enemy of Harmony, and yes, absolutely, it is one of my proudest works, just under D.E.R.P.Y.H.O.O.V.E.S., a "sequel" of sorts to it.
2. What’s your most recent fic and how far do you think you’ve come?
So I hope those of you following my story enjoyed last night's chapter. It definitely strayed from what/who I was used to writing; Pinkie and especially Sonata are characters that I haven't spent a lot of time with. Before writing this chapter, I watched some 'best of Sonata' videos on YouTube to try to get a feel for her and some of her expressions, and I was quite surprised to find that ALL of her dialogue time adds up to barely two minutes. I could've sworn she had more than that, but
So, around 5-6 months ago, I did a ‘50 Questions’ thing to give people some info about me because I wanted to. I don’t know where I found the original, but I was browsing Themaskedferret’s profile earlier (at like 6AM) and found out about a slightly different list of 50 questions. I had already planned to do the 50 I’d already done for my 18th birthday, see what had changed, what hadn’t. I read through them, and realized
... when your story ends up on the twitter account gathering fimfiction's "Hilarious and/or horrifying excerpts from fics, comments, groups, blogs, and more."

Is possible with Changeling Magic
So, in order to combat the writers block that has developed and has prevented me from working more on the second book, I have finished the epilogue. I wanted to experiment a little with Celestia here, and as such her speech is inter-spaced with other events, like how a commander gives a speech, but what is shown on screen is the actual battle he's prepping his troops for. I really hope I did it justice, but it's something I was experimenting with, so I'd understand if you felt I didn't do it

Meh. Whatever. Anyways, this Saturday I'll publish the next chapter.
