    It's that time again.

In about a week or more, but definitely less than two, I will have to turn in my Chromebook. I will then be unable to access the internet. The only way I could would be on the family computer, and even then, I couldn't do anything on any site at all. I'm sorry. This could be farewell for good, depending on what happens. This could also be the end of my internet life as we know it. I am unable to

    A Poem - "Something I've Learned"

    Something I've Learned

Life’s a bitch and then you die.
Bury you in a big dirt ditch.
    Once you’re gone, it’s over, it’s done,
And once again, Death has won.

    But Life ain’t fair,
And it ain’t ever be fair.
    If it were fair?
    Everything would be unfair.

    Paradoxes; gotta love ‘em.
But Life, unfortunately, weaves all of ‘em.
Eh, no matter, no harm, no foul,

    A Poem - "The Woman In A Man's Mirror"

The Woman In A Man’s Mirror

    She stares back at my soul, like fog upon the glass;
    Present but absent,
    Lasting yet fleeting.
I reach out to touch her.

She touches my hand, cold and smooth,
    Following my every movement;
    And we smile.
    We are one in the same;

But the fog grows, smearing her image.
    We search for each other,
    But she is gone behind
    The vaporous curtain.

    WARNING: MATURE STORY AHEAD.

I found a grimdark gorefic that was surprisingly well written. There's a lot of gore though and I'm thoroughly terrified. But it is amazing in its description.

Something I found around here on FiMFiction. · 8:08am Dec 24th, 2020

Questions can be found here.

Alrighty, here we go!

1. What was your first fic and could you stand to reread it today?

My first fic was Enemy of Harmony, and yes, absolutely, it is one of my proudest works, just under D.E.R.P.Y.H.O.O.V.E.S., a "sequel" of sorts to it.

2. What’s your most recent fic and how far do you think you’ve come?

Um, well, my most recent has to be Stroke of a Shadow, but I'm planning on rewriting that one completely. I haven't come very far at all, as I just started writing back in August.

3. In your opinion, what’s your best fic?

D.E.R.P.Y.H.O.O.V.E.S. without a doubt.

4. In your opinion and without looking at any numbers, what’s your most popular fic?

Making Muffins! I made this on a whim, and the quirky and choppy nature of it works well with Derpy's personality.

5. Is there any fic that makes you super happy to reread and remember you wrote that?

Erm... Probably Enemy of Harmony, as I wrote that while I was "high" (That Contrast stuff the docs give you in MRI's really mess with your head).

6. Is there any fic that makes you super embarrassed to reread and remember you wrote that?

Um, well I don't have that much to work with, so I'm screwed. Um... Making Muffins. It was a lot more soft and smooth when I first wrote it, but it was only 300 words, so I had to expand it somehow, making it choppy.

7. What’s the fic you most want to continue (unfinished or no)?

Ending Rarity. I know, I know, spoilers, but I want to continue writing that one. It's letting me try my hand at writing large groups and romance, mixed with betrayal.

8. What’s the oldest (longest since last update) fic you most want to continue (unfinished or no)?

Um, I want to write some more sequels for EoH, or even a new universe with the Mane 6 Alicorns and Carrot Top and Derpy Alicorns go around saving/ruining the world.

9. Have you ever written for a fandom without watching/reading/playing the source material?

Um, I don't think so? I think EoH was written after a day of watching the second half of Season 1, but I still didn't know the characters that well.

10. Have you ever written for a fandom without reading other fanfic for it?

Nope. Nope. I read a fic (and now I can't find it) and wrote after that, though it was unrelated.

11. Have you ever written a fic for a concept you know someone else has done before? How did it impact your writing process or feelings after posting?

Nope.

12. Have you ever written a fic and decided never to publish it? Why?

Ha, nope.

13. What’s the biggest change between your style when you started in fandom and today?

One was drunk, one was crammed, and another was well written. Getting better at all of them.

14. What’s the biggest change in your taste between when you started in fandom and today?

Um, I used to only read E rated fics at first after my introduction to FiMFiction through a T rated fic. Now, I read everything, minus M-rated fics, and some romance fics (those ones remind me of how lonely I am).

15. Have you ever purposefully written one fandom/fic idea over another because you knew it’d be more popular?

Nope.

16. Have you ever stopped writing a fic/for a fandom because it wasn’t receiving enough attention?

Nope.

17. In your opinion, what’s your most overrated fic?

I dunno, I ain't gotta clue.

18. What’s your most underrated fic?

D.E.R.P.Y.H.O.O.V.E.S. is the most underrated. It's an amazing piece, if I do say so myself.

19. If you had to pick one fic/scene/chapter of your work to describe your entire portfolio to a stranger, which would you pick?

EoH: "Sleep? I forgot about sleep!" -Rarity

20. Have/Would you ever rewrite a fic? If yes, would you take the original down?

Yes, but I'd leave the OG up for good measure.

21. If someone starts kudosing and commenting your fics in a spree and has a few works of their own, would you go look through theirs?

Of course, everypony deserves to have some read fics.

22. Has there ever been anyone who’s made you freak out because they read your work and followed/favorited/reviewed?

Um, well, not read, but on my YT channel, the famous Commenter Dragon watches my edits and stuff.

23. What’s the nicest review you’ve ever gotten?

Making Muffins: "I loved it! Great way to wrap up therapy today! Thanks! (Adding this to my library now...)" -From Betty_Starlight

24. What’s the meanest review you’ve ever gotten? Do you think the reviewer intended it?

I had one, once upon a time, it was my first comment! But, I deleted it, and I don't even remember what it was.

25. What constructive criticism, however well-meaning, always makes you feel bad when you see it in a review?

It makes me feel as though I failed in my writing, of which I pride myself in.

26. What aspect of your writing do you most enjoy to see praised?

Probably the use of different writing styles depending on the atmosphere of the fic, or just the main character!

27. If you could only ever write crossovers or single-fandom fics ever again, which would you pick?

Option C: Both.

28. if you could only ever write for a single crossover or a single fandom again, which would you pick?

See answer to #27

29. Does the division of your writing across fandoms line up with your reading? What’s the biggest discrepancy?

Um, well, my writing is dwarfed compared to the stuff I read.

30. Do you continue to write for a fandom after you’ve moved on or do you focus solely on the new one?

I haven't joined any others, so I think I'm good.

31. Who’s the one character you’ve just never managed to get perfectly right?

Celestia, maybe. I've always made her a bit of a dork, though I've written her only kinda once.

32. Who’s the one character who shines without you even trying?

Twilight Sparkle. She's my spirit animal. Bookhorse is my life.

33. Is there any particular character whose scenes always wind up being longer/more frequent than you expected? Does the quality hold up?

Not that I can think of.

34. Was there any fic that you wrote that really surprised you in the fandom reaction? Was it just by the numbers or did they take it an entirely different way?

Nah, bro, I'm barely known here on FiMFiction.

35. Have you ever written a ship into a fic without meaning to?

I hinted at one in D.E.R.P.Y.H.O.O.V.E.S., but it wasn't really a ship, it was mostly interaction.

36. Have you ever sincerely written a ship you do not support into a fic?

Um, hmm... No? Ending Rarity might be an exception, due to the fact that no real shipping has been done yet.

37. Have you ever purposefully bashed a character/ship in a fic?

Nope.

38. Have you ever purposefully written something you know your readers would find uncomfortable/would not enjoy? If yes, why?

Um, yeah! Enemy of Harmony was originally written to gross my sis out, and I succeeded! I did everything I could to make her not want to be my sister anymore.

39. Do you consider yourself to have a readership?

No, not really, nope.

40. Do you feel like you put out enough content?

Absolutely!

Not.

41. If you cross-post your fics on multiple sites, do you have a favorite? Are there certain fics you would only post on certain site?

N/A

42. How many views has your most popular fic gotten?

Um, it would appear my most read fic is An Interesting Video Call, with 285 views.

43. Your least popular?

Stroke of a Shadow, with a throng of 33.

44. Do you follow/favorite/kudos/comment/review more stories than you have received?

Yes.

45. If you had to call yourself an author of a single genre (besides fanfic) what label would you give yourself?

Fantasy. I am a huge fantasy nerd. I'm actually writing a fantasy book with a Tolkien level amount of info.

46. Do you consider yourself a diverse author?

Not really?

47. If someone you know in real life who isn’t involved in fandoms asked to read your work, would you let them? If yes, what would you recommend they read first?

Yes, I've had my friend read my first fic ever and she found it unsettling, kinda. She's read gorier stuff than what I wrote. She especially enjoyed D.E.R.P.Y.H.O.O.V.E.S..

48. Does anyone you know from outside of fandom know you write fanfic? Are they involved in the same fandom too?

Nope. I feel alone.

49. Has anyone in your life ever read your fanfic just because you wrote it?

Um, no, I've always asked them to read it.

50. Has writing fanfic had a significant impact on your life? Would you say it’s entirely positive?

Yes, I'd say positive. I found it's good writing practice for me so I can continue writing my book.
