When rewatching Newbie Dash for my Season 6 impressions, I saw this at around the 3:15 mark. I somehow don't think those numbers in the top-left corner are supposed to be there. Nobody else seems to have noticed it from what I've seen.
These errors are late-stage errors which I left in my fic after multiple reads. It happens to us all :(
I see him occasionally. He doesn't recognise me. I have learned not to love him, but it is hard. I talk with Laura about it, occasionally.
I realized I forgot a scene in my newest chapter of Locksmith. Sorry about that I had completely forgot. Thanks be to neon scar for reminding me before I kept going on to the next chapter. It's not very long merely adding another page but I think it fits and reveals more info about all the mares. Enjoy.
I MADE A MISTAKE!
In the most recent chapter of LSB - Midnight Sun (Sunshine and Fire, Part 1) - I DROPPED AN ENTIRE SCENE.
That scene exists now. It's the last one of the chapter, starting with "There was blood". The scene prior ends with "crashing down around them..."
...I really never wanted to be in this position, yet, here I am.
For you see, as I sat at my computer tonight, trying to work on the next chapter of this fic and becoming increasingly stymied, I went back and re-read the earlier chapters to try and...mentally refocus myself and remind me where I was going with this story. Reading those pages, a few things became abundantly clear to me.
This story kind of sucks.
I appear to have made a mistake. I'm... not entirely sure how I did it, but I did.
As some of you may have noticed, Sarikano correctly guessed Spike's Hero Soul, one Naruto Uzumaki. But Marwile has made me aware that a reader named Sonic Rainboom Dash has made this guess, and I ignored it.
I am really sorry about that! To make up for it, I have made it so SRD and Sarikano are both given credit for the guess.
Again, sorry about that.
(Canon to the Advancedverse, although it's deep background unlikely ever to be relevant.)
Haven't written much for the story- tend to do that on late Fridays and weekends when busy. Plan on destroying this thing by the end of the month due to my mom going on a trip for about a week and leaving me mostly alone besides taking care of my floofy dog and cooking food somehow.
Hey, guys, after finally getting some decent sleep, I went back and reread my previous chapter, and I got to say that I understand why you guys were not happy about it. It wasn't that I didn't foreshadow or anything, its just that it really matched my current mindset too well. On top of that, there were a few things that I wanted to touch on that I never did, because of my scatterbrained, sleep-deprived state.
My own efforts revealed that the list is probably stories that only John Perry reviewed. I deleted his column when I found out his profile was gone, but apparently never did the cleanup follow-up. If you have a review of one of the previous stories, please let me know, but I'm no longer nearly as worried as I just deleted the stories from the list. If anyone has a review I'll add them back but I have to draw the line somewhere. Probably got rid of at least one non-Perry review in the purge but
For better or for worse, this may turn out interesting...
I have greatly enjoyed my time here on FIMFiction.net.
And to think it all started with one, little, Applespike story.
Well, today is the day my past mistakes came to haunt me.
Yup, that's right. Fresh outta the oven and shiner than Rarity's coiffed mane.
You know you want too~
So here I was, sketching out something for a new story, when I'm struck by a realization.
I don't know the right word for the outfit that Maud wears. Would you call it a dress? A cloak? A long turtleneck shawl-thing?
I turned to Google and, well... made a very foolishly straightforward search which gave a very strange result.
I made some changes to Chapter 6, realizing I had changed it in my Word Doc and not on here, which led to inconsistencies between Chapters 6 and 7. Those have been fixed. My bad.
A typo in the blurb of a story from 2015. What's a 'swamp meet'? Oh well.
Copying old stories to AO3. Consequently, I can no longer link to it. I should go back and edit that other post right now... Not leaving here, just making backups.
