Haven't written much for the story- tend to do that on late Fridays and weekends when busy. Plan on destroying this thing by the end of the month due to my mom going on a trip for about a week and leaving me mostly alone besides taking care of my floofy dog and cooking food somehow.
I also have been writing up my favorite albums of 2018 list, that's almost done cause the Grammies are coming up and I'm deciding to not write 60,000 words over something that is meaningless within a year. And also the nominees really sucked this year so I'd rather be doing something I like.
Also when I'm not writing or listening to music, my mom wants to make a cookbook out of all our recipes so we know what we all like and we can finally make grocery lists for the week for the first time in my life. Don't know why she wants to do this since she hasn't done this ever since my sister and brother were little but sure.
So guess who's looking at my mom's 2000ish cookbooks and food magazines and everything?
Me.
She foisted it on me and so writing for fun will definitely be more fun cause looking at two to five cookbooks a day depending on what I like takes a lot longer than you think.
Hey at least thanks to writing for years, I know exactly how Google Drive and their folders and sorting functions work. And I do like cooking so taking out the middle man of looking really hard to even find the right recipe works.
I bet I'm far gayer than even I think or I'm mildly obsessive (cause my sister's the exact same with how she does her gardening and book folding and facebook groups.) Cause even though I don't currently have a job (still looking though cause I know it's possible now) I'm never truly bored- from doing whatever cookbook nonsense this is, to constantly teaching me musical instruments, to writing.
Once I'm committed to something, I'm so in. Even if it's mildly torture like reading all my mom's cookbooks. Even if that bet was made because I want her to clean up her basement and food magazines she never reads take up a large portion of it.
