Chapter 17, an EH Parody, and the Mid-Act Climax · 7:03pm Feb 6th, 2020
So, uh, yo, I just wrote 9800 words in three days, and if you don't see this chapter out this Friday then I'll kill every one of my editors and then myself.

Finally finished up Horizon Forbidden West this evening.
Coming in at a whopping 9 books is all of Horizons. You can read it... prop up a leg of your bed... kill a caribou with it... Paper the walls of your house... have a yearly supply of toilet paper... the list goes on and on.

In case you're wondering, I don't actually get any of that, and I think they print at cost.
Look, I know you missed me, I know it's been awhile, but I really gotta talk about this dank audiobook project first, okay? But for the impatient, the Chapter 12 draft has finally been sent to my editors.
There's a number of printed versions of Horizon coming out it seems. One group is doing it in sets, the other is doing it all at once. Generally if anyone asks me if they want to do a printing I'm cool with it. It's a really big hurdle. Neither, or both depending on how you want to look at it, are official. I can't really say anything for artwork or quality of either project. As long as it's accurate to the story, I'm happy with it.
And I only had to stay up until 1:30 in the morning.
Last fight was the longest and most intense battle in the game, bar none. Actually had to resort to health potions because I ran out of medicinal herbs.
I simply can't believe they disable aim assist on this difficulty. Yo, Guerilla, the majority of players are using controllers, you goddamn masochists.
Right, so I got some replies on the prior one. And what most people seem to ask for so far, is that I just focus on what I apparently "un-fucked" in the original story. Mainly the 18+ content. (though tbh, I think some people are a bit harsh on it. Yes, most of it was bad, but it wasn't THAT awful. I mean yes, many of them are almost as bad as how K-Kat fucked up Fallout Equestria with the two massive plotholes. But that people seem to rather sweep under the rug, with no intent to even bother
Thanks to DualKitsune for writing this!

Come, sit a spell,
And hear a tale
Of the time our golden empire fell
And of the ones on whom our hopes dwell,
Even though the invasion they failed to quell
Plunging us all into this hell.
On that day,
I am sad to say:
Love’s Triumphant Chorus was tainted,
Cruel Deceit the conductor
leading a corrupting aria of ambition.
Well, I didn't spend too long with Last of Us Remastered (didn't even make it through the docks) before the call of something new lured me away; the game whose E3 2015 reveal put this console squarely in my sights three years ago.
Horizon Zero Dawn's world is intriguing, its hostile inhabitants challenging, and not to mention, the whole thing is visually stunning. Finally, something that gives Witcher 3 a run for it's money when it comes to best looking game I have ever seen.
For the first time in a thousand years, the old magic has returned to Equestria.
I first read fallout: equestria about 10 months ago, then read project horizons. I've been working on a comic adaptation for about 6 months. You can find it Here and I hope you'll like it. It's been fun working on it.
I'm done... It's done.
After 3 to 4 long years of reading it, it is done and I am done.
Project Horizons... What A ride.
1.6 million words, 4 years and two months in the making.
It saddens me deeply to see it over but as the story itself has said, everything ends, that's how you know it was so good in the first place.
About 1/3 of the epilogue was kinda meh IMO but the rest was fantastic.
The New Horizons 2006 probe is now nearing it's flyby of Pluto. So far, there are some pretty cool new images of Pluto popping up, and people are just now naming the cool geologic features. It should start transmitting back much more high resolution photos after a close fly by, I think in a day or a few days.
Happy Thanksgiving, turkeys. I'm not here for any sappy nonsense about what I'm thankful for or what you're thankful for. This is a realm of ponies, and I am here to pony. So if you're gonna be thankful for anything this midnight-after-Thanksgiving on a small horse fantasy enthusiast website, then be thankful that I just finished the draft for Chapter 22.
Hey, dudes. Golden here! I would understand if you didn't recognize me; it's been a little while since I've posted a blog. But with Chapter Three of Sunken Horizons due to publish tomorrow at 7500 words, I figured it was time to get back into the groove!
...And they are bringing me pause.
Mainly because of what I'm reading about bugs. They are noticeable, and everywhere. From T-poses, to AI enemies being completely unaware of you, to elevators not working, requiring rebooting the game to hope it works, to full on crashes. I'm reading that a very generous autosave mechanic keeps it from being game-breaking.
