Last weekend I made a blog post inviting folks to pick a character for a 'six characters' challenge to write a fanfic of (as opposed to draw).

Is it just me or should they have not reformed Diamond Tiara? I know it's something that was done awhile ago but when you look at Cozy Glow it's really just Diamond Tiara who's playing a bit more of the long game. I think it would have worked out better.

If you still remember the blog I made nearly a month ago that I took down all of my future story ideas, you can tell that I'm still empty and depressed right now. Not because of writer's block but the fact I have to learn the truth about how the story can catch people's interest. And not only that, the 78 stories (Including the deleted ones) have me use the same characters from time to time. You may not see that as an issue but it is when I figure it out.
Y’all have one of those moments where you know there’s something you should have did but didn’t and you only remember it a day later and then wonder how you forgot in the first place?
Which is an appropriate enough segue into our next Not-A-Contest story:
I am doing better now. I wrote more for "Dreamwalker Dash" and it went more smooth than last week. I'll keep that up and if nothing new is affecting me, my writing schedule should be back to normal this week. I'll let you know if anything changes.

Everyone responsible for the decision to have the “heroes” of this show brutally torture a child to death should be ashamed of ruining Lauren Faust’s creation. Worst ending imaginable, couldn’t be any worse, ruins the ENTIRE series!!!!! Or at least it ruins all the post-Faust stuff in the entire show’s history.

Another year, another entry for the Cozy Glow contest. I’ll continue supporting the contest as long as the group hosts it, but I know going in that I don’t write the kind of stories the judges are looking for. They want dark & edgy and I don’t really write anything that falls into that category.
One of their metrics is ‘how sharp are the teeth?’
I wonder if people are going to hate me... even more, once they find out that I'm probably Cozy Glow's father...

Here it is, round 3, featuring all the major villains from MLP:FiM. No antagonists, since that's insane. They've gotta be major threats in the season premiers and/or finales. Also, I didn't include Sunset Shimmer, simply because... well... I'm not a fan of the Equestria Girls series, and I don't really think it's cannon, even if the Sirens did appear in the Season 7 finale. Also, I didn't do the Pony of Shadows, simply because the POS is more like Venom, and doing something cannon for him is
"Frenemies" is finally here! The long-awaited episode to see more of Grogar's plan! And, wow, it dropped SO MUCH epic stuff on us! And it delivered a lot of interesting hints what could await us in the future and what we might see in the season finale.
"So what's it like being a hack," and its variations is a question I get asked often enough. Sometimes it's not verbalized but it's the way others just kind of shake their heads when you chime in on writing or some other thing in relation to it. Other times it's just finishing dead last (even when they don't tell you that's where you finished but you know it based upon various factors that include not allowing yourself enough time to edit or some such thing). As far as fanfic goes, I'm currently actively working on three stories. Two of them are new ones I mentioned when I ended my hiatus - Rariquest and Her Chosen Princess of the Sun. As an aside, I've found Cozy Glow's character to be quite close to the character I was going for with Sunset Shimmer in Her Chosen Princess of the Sun, though the role they fill is very different so I still want to get around to writing that eventually. The bigger issue is the Season 9 Premiere addressed the same
This here is a, slightly late, announcement that I changed my plans for this week. Loyal readers of "Dreamwalker Dash" will have already noticed something changed yesterday when they waited for a new chapter without being rewarded with one, readers of "A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World" will have at least suspected that something is going on when my promised teaser didn't come on Sunday.
I think a lot of people like Cozy's Dilemma, and there's some interest in A Filly Lost for One Thousand Years, but I've been in the mood for Too Young To Change.
HOWEVER I do want to continue and someday finish those other two stories and get them out of hiatus. Too Young To Change is a bigger project that might take even LONGER to finish meanwhile CD and AFLFOTY is possibly a lot closer to an ending since it's a bit more set in stone, at least for me rn.
I foresaw this incoming for several weeks now. The total view of the prologue to "The Shadow Queen" finally exceeding the total views of my most viewed chapter of "Sky Dancer".
