So I finally got around to writing a snippet that's been on my mind for the longest while, and I just bashed the whole thing out in one session.

If I can get it some cover-art, and anyone wants to proof-read/edit for me, I may as well make it a full on stand alone.
Not bad for something that I wrote primarily out of spite.
Well, it took a bit longer than I'd hoped, but I'm happy to announce that I'm ready to start publishing the sequel to my first fic, "Late-Night Conversations", beginning tomorrow! This is a direct follow-up to the first story, taking place two days later, centered on Sunset and Wallflower as they face each other after a year of distance following the events of Forgotten Friendship. The story is five chapters plus
...in Blender, of course. 
It's still pretty jank compared to some other renders I've seen, but I've got a basic fire, some smoke, some water, and a reflective obstacle for the water all interacting with each other in the same scene. 
This is totally not being done in preparation to whip up more cover art...
Go read the new version! The chapters that are most changed are five, interlude four, and chapter ten. Now that all that effort is done, I can get back to actively writing it and fixing the other stories in need of TLC for print. Also, 100+ upvotes? How did that happen?
Ch 44 is the start of the End is Neigh (pony for nigh) arc of chapters. Starlight ought understand what's happening. She's had plenty of clues. Does she? How can she fight what she doesn't understand? As a reader, remember you have the history presented in the series so don't be too hard on our favorite reformed evil mare.

Sorry for the lack of updates, life has recently found a way to consistently found ways to intervene at every opportunity I had to sit down for writing so I'd been reduced to only getting a few sentences or paragraphs in at a time. However, the past two days have proven fruitful in that I've gotten a good chunk of work done and now Chapter 14.1 (clop and clop-free versions) is more or less finished and awaiting completion of 14.2, which is where all of my attention has been turned as of late.
A horrible eye for aesthetics? No idea where to begin with finding a cover for your story? Do you have a suspicious amount of trust in Ice Star?
Well, that's a pretty bad idea. Just gonna say it. However, if you don't care about the fact that trusting Ice Star is a dubious thing to do, then feel free to read further, I guess. Your call there, man.
How do you scan a picture? I drew cover art for one of my future projects for this site but I don't know how to scan a photo. I don't want to use my phone because I actually want the cover to look appealing. So if anybody knows how to scan a photo (easily) please tell me.

It's been a long time coming, but I have good news for you all who's been waiting on my story, EqG: Sonic the Hedgehog. While I'm close to finishing up writing my story, I'm in a comfortable spot to finally announce the release date of Volume III! 
Quick question! About how long between chapters do you find acceptable to wait when you read a new fic? 1 day? 1 week? Do you wait until everything is posted and then read all at once?

Hey there! I've been in charge of the Submissions thread for the Goodfic Bin for a while now. I forget how long. It's been at least a few months. Anyhoo, because I've seen all manner of submissions (some good, some bad, some interesting, some not) it has come to my attention that I'm not actually half bad at getting a bit of a feel for whether I'm going to like a story solely based on how it is submitted and what it kind of looks like.
