Today, I am attempting to use Blender · 5:19pm June 8th
So far, I have surpassed the cube by deleting it. Now I'm no professional, but I think I'm making moves like jagger.🕺

SCAN ALL THE THINGS!
Gonna use this thing to do more 3D rendering stuffs. I'ma install this in my thrift-store workstation so that I don't have to worry about crashing my main system whenever I want to render a heavy scene. At least that way I can still work on homework and essays while things are happening in the background.
Y'know, trying to watch a tutorial video while working in Blender at the same time really starts to cramp the screen when your resolution is 1920x1200.
I want a 3D model of my little Moonlight so I decided to learn Blender, I have a long way to go before making a character but for the moment I'm pretty happy with this little donut.
Behold!
I made it as a label-free, low-poly stock model of the calculator I've got IRL:
...of which I found in a thrift store, and later found out dated back to the 1970s. Pretty neat that it still works.
Now you will not have to worry about the extra noise that blenders make when preparing your smoothies. With a quiet smoothie blender, you can blend your shakes just anywhere and at any point in time to enjoy delicious drinks. For more details, visit: https://www.biovie.fr/en/40-blender
Birthday's come and gone, so how are things? Quick update.
First original story is done, in first draft, written over the course of June. I've learned that I can hit 2k words per day, easy, if I have a basic outline, so that's nice. A few types of scenes I struggle with and need more practice or at least figure out how to trick my mind into getting those out smoothly.
Fudged up the sky, but I hid it behind a crapton of trees, so you can hardly see it anyways.
EDIT: for some reason the embed isn't working, so have a link instead.

at least i got a bit more practice in for making and using image textures
First off: new Blender short film. If you liked Laika's Paranorman, you'll know some of the character designs. If you'd like to see a horror movie with Smurfs in it... yeah, that's basically what you're getting. Fair warning: rated T. Very much not PG-rated.
Second surprise: Ghostbusters game.
Okay, I'm writing the first version of this on the 22nd of June, the day after I had a talk with my family, which was right after I got some news, been editing it as I go along over the course of a few weeks, up to now. Those of you not interested in personal stuff or non-pony stuff, here's the short version:
Made this scene using a combination of self-made and premade models. Texturing was done almost entirely by myself.
Also, it took 18 hours to render on the hardware I have. So yeah.
I realized after it finished rendering that the wall was too thin, making the windows look a bit... weird.
Okay, I said I'd do it, so I'm doing it. Here goes. I want you to form this picture in your mind:
You pretend to be a Nigerian prince and send around some e-mails to that effect. Claim you're stinking rich, and want to get your money out, but you need help from the recipient of the message. If they help and send you money, you can make them rich.
Standard online scam, cliché by now.
Contrast that to the following:
It's a surprise tool that will help us later. :)
