"Late-Night Conversations 2" Coming Tomorrow; Title + Cover Art Reveal! · 4:09am Mar 6th, 2022
Well, it took a bit longer than I'd hoped, but I'm happy to announce that I'm ready to start publishing the sequel to my first fic, "Late-Night Conversations", beginning tomorrow! This is a direct follow-up to the first story, taking place two days later, centered on Sunset and Wallflower as they face each other after a year of distance following the events of Forgotten Friendship. The story is five chapters plus an epilogue; the first two chapters will be published tomorrow morning, likely around 10-10:30am PT, followed by the rest one per day beginning Tuesday around 4pm PT. (EDIT: Now published!) For those who'd prefer to read it all at once, the full fic should be published by Friday, March 11.

Writing this was definitely an interesting process; if you read my last blog, you know I near-entirely rewrote this after completing much of the original draft, and I definitely think this version is superior. I was surprised at how long it got; with the epilogue, it narrowly edges out "Sunset and Twilight's Winter Holidate" as my longest single-story fic. I'm definitely... curious to see the reactions this will get, but I'm cautiously optimistic. I really hope people like this story.
Lastly, an update on my anthology fic "Pinkie Pie Takes Disneyland!". Due to the delays with "Bad Memories", I won't be able to meet my initial projection of new chapters in early March; I'm instead planning to start writing new ones in one or two weeks and begin publishing towards the end of the month. However, to make up for the delay, I am hopeful to write and publish one new chapter this week, possibly on Monday during the gap in the "Bad Memories" publishing schedule. Stay tuned.

Well, definitely looking forward to tomorrow. I can't wait to see who will be coupling up amongst the Rainbooms at the prom. This is sure to be a good one!

For some reason it wasn’t listed in the “blog posts” section even when I logged out of my account and no one seemed to notice it, so I was concerned there’d been some kind of glitch and reposted it. Apologies, I wasn’t trying to spam people (I wouldn’t do it again regardless). Normally it wouldn’t concern me, but I was excited to let people see Swordtune’s cover arts.
I’m gonna go ahead and say don’t get too hyped for prom stuff in this story. If this one’s successful, though, I’m considering a final entry in this series (more lighthearted than these two) that would be all about prom and graduation, though I don’t have a firm idea yet for what it would be.
