Hiya, lovely peeps!
Welcome back to Behind-the-page, the series where I give you background information on my stories. In todayʼs spotlight, we have So Many Wonders!
Delivering on my promise to publish a story this August.
So Many Wonders has been in the works for quite some time. First conceived back in June, itʼs meant to be part of a series called “The Childhood Chronicles”, which focuses on the childhood of G4 adult characters. This first entry stars nine-year-old Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
Iʼve been wanting to write stories about the missing pieces of canon for the longest time. This story is not meant to be a masterpiece; itʼs meant a cute, run-of-the-mill, average fic that I simply wanted to get out in the open.
Initial reception was what I expected - it did not get featured, but it did get 10 upvotes and 100 views within the first 24 hours, which is the bare minimum I expect for all my stories. Overall, Iʼm happy with the way it was received.
On a related note, no less than three people have praised the cover art!

I certainly stand by what I said, and further, I think the story is definitely worth checking out. The premise you've set forth here is pretty worthwhile, too; I think it'd be a lovely idea to explore more characters' backstories in the future.
