Progress update and preference check

Quick question! About how long between chapters do you find acceptable to wait when you read a new fic? 1 day? 1 week? Do you wait until everything is posted and then read all at once?

And second, here's a progress update:

• cover art: complete
• first "act": complete (5 chapters, ~24k words)
• second "act": just started (planned 7 chapters + epilogue, estimated 35k+ words but could vary)

It's crazy that I surpassed the original word count already and I'm not even halfway through the story. 35k before the end of the summer is going to be tricky (no promises), so my next update will probs b at the end of the month on where I'm at. And then figuring out how to edit the whole thing

makes sense lol, im very much in the second boat as a reader, but as a writer it's always nice to have the comments and interaction with readers over time each week. so ill have to figure out the best way to stagger things!
