Not everything is as it seems, and not everypony can be trusted.
Not everything is as it seems, and not everypony can be trusted.
Let's get Chapter 8 knocked out! I think we can get this done today and hopefully edited with the goal of being up tomorrow!
The end of the MLP Mid-Season Hiatus is arriving, and with it the end of July. I'm getting antsy, and both of my usual editors are really busy with important IRL stuff that naturally takes precedence over pony fanfic. Looking over the six new stories and three chapter updates I plan to release for JJJ, even if I would like a second opinion, I do think most of them are in a readable state. (And the one that is a bit sketchy on that front was done more for fun than quality anyway,
Ohhhhhhhhh the pastas hurt. Please direct all formal complaints to JofY if you experienced any lasting trauma from witnessing any of those.
why does it look fucking disgusting right now
like it literally couldn't look any grosser
Whenever I'm working on a multi-chapter story and make a significant amount of progress (500+ words) on the current chapter, I'll let you guys know.
Hoo boy, this is going to be a large one. The War has begun.
Or will, anyways! Firstly we see more ponies show up to Twilight's main corps:
Braeburn begins our roster of new ponies, running the 2nd Appaloosa Dragoons. (Even if in-game they are from Connecticut. It's a game feature, the closer a state is to your army, the faster they muster up. I will be taking creative liberties with this for narrative reasonings.)
0/10 - AWFUL (unsalvageable, nothing to be gained from watching it, never should have been made, wouldn't recommend to anyone, completely butchers an important subject/teaches a horrible and downright toxic moral)
1/10 - HORRIBLE/BORING (tedious to sit through, hurts to watch it, a bore, no reason to watch it, whatever positive things about it are tiny and not enough to save it)
“Good artists borrow. Great artists steal.”
This quote is often cited as being said by Pablo Picasso. The quote itself is often used to describe that art is derivative, and that sometimes the best pieces of art are doing what’s been done, but doing it even better. After all, Super Mario Bros. is not considered the best 2D platformer, as people often consider World or 3 to be better anyways.
soooo ya, apparently im an idiot and didn't notice the reply button for something and instead replied directly on someone's homepage. perhaps I've been drinking too much. . . oh well whatever can you do? still working on lucky and the search for friends BTW, its just going very slowly cause life sucks alooooot of the time (damn you entropy)
anyway's ya, i suppose i have to give gum gum now don't i?
You may already have heard about this from another author you follow, but RBDash47--among his many fandom contributions, he's probably best-known for having run the Pony Fiction Vault--is starting up a new project called Ponyfeather Publishing. Its goal? To provide high-quality ebooks (and ultimately, high-quality physical copies) of select fanfiction for the discerning ponyfic reader.
Hi there! This is for everypony who is following my story “Ponest Dungeon.”
Arc 1 is up and posted, and I’m working on Arc 2.
Finally seen the movie. I can only recommend everyone to see this if you haven't. Go watch it.
Everything behind the break is a huge spoiler! Don't click on "Read More" if you haven't seen it! I'm warning you! You have to experience the movie yourself!
7/27/18 Edit: Added Ant man and the Wasp info.
The reason this is called The Shortest Debunk Ever is because I will debunk two of Mykan's blogs in a single sentence.
Why I don't take kind to forums of criticism.
Why won't I get help...? (Creativity is the Greatest Rebellion)
"So who should we have as our Seventh Ranger? The one who has a deep, turbulent emotional connection and shared history with the main character, or a recently introduced villain who's a creepy cult leader?"
"Clearly the second option is better."

True brilliance here, folks.
Thanks to my new boyfriend, I've come to remember a world of yonder years. A world from which I've been absent for near an eternity. A world filled with pastel shaded tiny equines. And here it is. And here I am. Fuck me.
A certain chitin-faced slime-drooler refuses to post a certain story that's filled with magic and wonder and light unless all of your glorious and lovely peeps retweet a certain Twittery tweet 124 times.
So what will it be, people? Will we let such an inconsiderate tyrant of a bug dictate what he will or will not post?
(Hint: NO WE WON'T!)
Hello! It's been a while since I've done one of my large reviews of anything. The last time was my blog series on 'Bride of Discord' and pointing out and deconstructing fairy tale tropes and why the story was a kiddie guide to an abusive relationship.
this is copied and pasted from my discord server
also the sriked stuff is only relevant to discord
Well, shoot. Time to add another candle to the cake.
Today's my birthday. I had intended to post a story today, but someone helping me with it has pointed out a number of holes in it that need to be patched. So expect it by Friday, I guess.
I've got a couple other things in the works, but none of them have progressed far enough to announce. I will say, though, that one of them includes a particular fashionista that nobody likes (Spoiler: it's Suri).
