First of all, I wanted to let you know I am okay. I had to clean up my blog and some other online stuff recently because my mom got her credit card stolen, and we were all worried any activity from my IP address could alert the thief to our home. Thankfully, that was resolved :)

Jokes aside, I just got back from my passover holiday, and I am very tired. My colic pain has (mostly) subsided, and recovery is going smoothly. I'll keep everyone posted regarding my fic "Starlight Glimmer's First Student: A Human?!", but I have a rendezvous with moon mom Luna now.

What is it with Glimmer and how cliche stock plots follow her wherever she goes? One or two stock plot episodes where characters are flanderised and dumbed down and written OOC so they'll fit into the stock plot's roles, I can handle, but how many have we had so far? Please, take this number and show it to a Glimfan.

Also, score one for the "Glimmer is incurable and needs to be put down, she can not be redeemed or reformed" theory.

I do not hate all Starlight Glimmer fans. I hate glimfans, the crazy ones. However, people have told me they thought glimfan was just short for "Literally all Starlight Glimmer fans". So for a little while now, the discourse on the Eyeball comments page has shifted into a critical discussion of Shimsham v. Glimglam (Dawn of Friendship), with opinions being split over whether Glimmy is a dime store knock-off of Shimmy who isn't fit to hold her merkin, if there's nothing wrong with her and she's Just Alright With Me, or if she's a decent character who's been poorly handled, and is also Just Alright With Me.
