Finally seen the movie. I can only recommend everyone to see this if you haven't. Go watch it.

7/27/18 Edit: Added Ant man and the Wasp info.
Wow, this movie is just wow. There are many small things like Red Skull, Peter Dinklage or the trailers lying about Hulk being in the Battle for Wakanda, but the biggest point is of course the ending twist. Thanos winning wasn't that surprising if you consider that it was known that Infinity War would be a two-parter even before they announced Phase 3. But actually killing off more than half of the main cast (which, don't forget, is massive) came completely out of left field. Of course they'll find a way to revive all of them in the sequel... Right? Actually, what comes after Infinity War? Ant Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel are still coming, but we don't know if they play before or after Infinity War (most likely before). But anything beyond that? We barely know anything about Phase 4.
And now, just because I have problems, a chart of the characters and how alive they are:

Man, I'm so hyped for Infinity War 2 next year.
I mean, they have the Time Gem and even if that didn't work, there's a bunch of space entities that could do something about it. Either way, it took balls to erase that many character, most of all new hot characters like Spider-Man, Bucky or Black Friggin Panther! For the first time in a long time, I literally can't think of how the next movie will start, continue or end.
Also, Adam Warlock is yet to be revealed, despite him being a central player in the original comic.

Yeah, those were the ones that shocked me the most too (and Starlord). Didn't they say Sebastian Stan was contracted for more movies?
I researched a bit and a Phase 4 is confirmed, but no movies. There are rumors about a Black Widow solo movie and a Spiderman 2, so I think Adam will probably in a Guardians 3.
We already know the movies can take many liberties from the source material. I mean, Thanos in the comics simply wants to destroy everything in the universe because he's in love with Death (as in the literal female personification of death).
Yeah, Infinity War is a great entry for the MCU. I wouldn't say it's the best so far, but it would be unfair to call it second to any other MCU movie.
I was thinking about writing a whole blog, not sure if I should post it here or on another website if I actually do.

Yeah, calling this anything less than the biggest event in the whole MCU until now would be a total understatement.
While this is definitely the best Avengers movie, I'd probably still rate some others (Civil War, Guardians 2, maybe Homecoming) higher.
