Just a small drabble that's my first Pony-Fic, something I came up with at work today that wouldn't go away. A story about the masks we wear and the relief that can come with being with that special some-pony for whom no masks are needed.

One morning, while Spike is drooling over a scrumptious looking gem, he is told a very confusing thing. Twilight might like Pinkie.

Her inability to form coherent sentences when the pink mare is around sure seems to lead to that assumption, but assuming isn't enough.

Twilight needs answers, and science is just the way to get them.

Finally succumbing to her crush on her dear friend Fluttershy, Rarity swallows her pride and asks the pegasus out on a date. But Fluttershy, the sweet and innocent mare that she is, seems completely oblivious. What will it take for Rarity to win her shy friend over?

Twilight has had to deal with quite a few peeved unicorns lately. Haughty magicians, angry teenagers, scorned savants, the list goes on. You'd think she would be used to it by now, but this time she's faced with something far more threatening, and far more unexpected...a drunk Rarity.

Twilight and Rarity prepare for a battle the next day, but there is more going here on than Rarity realizes.

Tonight was Twilight's third date with Rarity, her best friend and hopefully soon-to-be-marefriend. Though nothing had happened yet, and she was still trying to come to terms with the fact that something might happen, she was determined to make their third date even better than their last.
