Enter the story of Rainbow Dash as she tries to figure out just what it is that her feeling are.

For years, Rainbow Dash has adored Pinkie from afar. For years, she hasn't been able to muster the courage in order to actually come and approach Pinkie.

Now it's her birthday, and Pinkie has taken it upon herself in order to throw the Pegasus' latest bash.

Is Rainbow's time finally here? Or does Pinkie not love her back?

Rainbow Dash means the world to Scootaloo, who wants nothing more than to spend every day with her surrogate sister, learning from the best and being awesome together. Yet all that is about to end, possibly forever, and Scootaloo knows there's nothing she can do about it.

The only thing left to do is say goodbye... but that's proving far harder than she ever imagined.

It's not just a friendly visit though. It's a special occasion.

This doesn't even go in my own headcanon, so don't expect too much out of it.

However, as bad histories and old grudges surface and threaten to ruin the occasion, Applejack must restore harmony and save the day. In the process, she may come to terms with her relationship with her own parents...

First off, thank you for viewing this page. As a fellow fan of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, I've developed a true adoration for these characters, and felt inspired to write a story about how they, in my imagination, came to be who they are. Therefore, I chose to center the story around the girls' relationships with their parents, for in more ways than one, we are all the products of what our parents or guardians have made us. As the old saying goes, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

To that end, please bear in mind that this is very much a character-driven drama, so there will be no action/adventure or anything of the sort here. Also know that I chose to depict the parent-child dynamic as very real, so expect controversial parental issues to be featured.
