Twilight has spent the last two decades fighting against the dark forces which threaten the peaceful kingdom of Equestria. As a Royal Alicorn Princess, she has no choice in the matter. She is the greatest magician Equestria has ever known, but it has all come at a cost, both physically and mentally. She resents her friends for the happy, carefree lives they've been able to lead. Somepony will have to breach her walls of isolation and sorrow before she does something foolish.

Twilight Sparkle is ready for a nice evening with Moon Dancer to help restore their friendship. However, the pair quickly gets sidetracked when Moon Dancer demonstrates a lamia transformation spell that leaves her feeling a little predatory, and Twilight is in for an evening filled with enchantment. Of course, Moon Dancer isn't entertaining her for free, and together they'll go on a psychological adventure that will reveal things about these two mares that they didn't even know about themselves.

Now... the commander must set aside his pride and his anger for the crown. to try all he can to protect his former love... and his friends. when even the Elements of Harmony arn't enough. But what will happen to this broken heart... when his world is once again torn apart, from death and destruction.
