When Twilight and Applejack explore a mysterious cave on the edge of Sweet Apple Acres and things go awry, they are quite literally swept away into a world of darkness and ancient secrets, in a cave far beyond the reach of the Sun--where a relic of the past lives on and flourishes under the light of the Moon.

Deep within the heart of the earth, a colony of nocturnal ponies lives on who left Equestria in disgust after the defeat of the Night Mare at the hooves of Celestia. However, what will they think if they learn that their Princess has returned after a thousand years of waiting?

A few years before Twilight was send to ponyvile princess Celestia send a single pony of to find a lost colony send by Luna now princess Celestia has send Twilight and her friends to help this pony, but why does it seem that Twilight don't like this Pony

Three nocturnal orphans find themselves ready to leave on their own and join the princess of the night after she steals an Element of harmony and a familiar black helmet. In this new world of Equestria founded after the defeat Discord, who knows what kinds of secrets these woods may hold.

This fanfic follows the creation and the TRUE history of Equestria through the eyes of a secret society, the Children of Night. Each chapter are/will be intertwining short stories that divulge on the history and back story of the holidays, landmarks, artifacts, families and events important to Equestrian culture. It is told through the point of view of Diamond Apple, a unicorn in the earth pony dominant apple family. While reading this story you should think to yourself "History is written by the victors."

After Discord's defeat, Equestria was slowly recovering. Misery was everywhere, and orphaned children were found everywhere on the streets of Canterlot, only some were lucky enough to be taken to orphanages. Princess Luna proposed to form a new colony, where everypony can grow strong and happy, but Celestia forbade it, in fear of such an action dividing and shattering the weakened kingdom, forever. But Luna decides to carry on with her plan in secret anyway.

Between the banishment of Nightmare Moon and her revival as Luna, Equestria was blessed with one thousand years of prosperity under Princess Celestia. There are some historians today who call it "The Dawn Age", though it ended only recently. And yet, for a small group of ponies hidden far from other civilizations, Celestia's golden age was anything but.
Luna's Children of the Night were originally a group of twelve foals whom she rescued from poverty and starvation. She whisked them away in the night to serve as the founders of a new colony - one for which, eventually, she was punished. Still, even after her banishment, her Children lived on, tucked away in mountain ranges far beyond the sight of the sun.
So, over the years, what became of these children?

1000's of years ago, when Princess Luna realizes that no pony loves her nights, she creates a new race of ponies, the Children of the Night.More than a thousand years have past and the Children of the Night are long forgotten. But they did not leave. They waited a thousand years for their Princess, and now she has returned. With only a few ponies left they realize that they will not last forever. A young mare, Nightly Red has heard every story about how the Children of the Night came to be from the Elders. All different stories with a common denominator, the princess. She then took a risk, she wanted to know the true story, She went to Canterlot to hear the real story from Luna herself. This is the story of her adventure.

At night a mysterious event happens: Tales of young foals being whisked away in the night and never heard or seen again. Celestia has commissioned the Royal Guard and multiple detectives to seek out any information about what goes on at night. Many of the ponies suspect Princess Luna, but Celestia refuses to believe until she sees with her own eyes.
