Once known as current and real, much of Equestria's history has been turned into myths and legends. From the benevolent Princess of the Night, to the disorder caused by an all powerful creature, the ponies simply made tales of them.

However, not all history was preserved as stories, much was forgotten. Amongst the forgotten was one that would return and change Equestria and its citizens, for better or for worse.

This is the story of the Pupil of the Night.

After serving the Osean Air Force for another three years, Trigger retired. One day, in his personal ex-fighter jet, went for another free flight. It all went downhills when a mysterious massive storm sudden covered his flight route; due to his love of being a daredevil, Trigger; as always, flew right into the storm. Lost in the storm, Trigger struggled to fly out. But when he did flew out, he quickly learned that this isn't his world. Pegasus that can go super sonic? Anthro ponies? Magic?! Nope, definily not in Osea anymore.

Little does he know, a storm is forming, and War is approaching...

The Cutie Mark Crusaders one day find a mysterious book called a "Core-Ann", attached is a note from somepony named "ISIS". Allahu akbar ensues.

In 1991, the USSR collapsed and many of the former Soviet Socialist Republics succeeded. One of those is Equestria. Now Twilight and the rest of Main Six (after being released from a Gulag by the new government) have to tread lightly through the difficult rigors of post-soviet Equestria.

On the way to the skate park with Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash needs to make a pit stop at the DMV to fix a discrepancy in her Driver's License. While Dash is filling out the application, Scootaloo finds out that her older sister's middle name was never actually Danger in the first place.

Rainbow Dash, Elemental Bearer of Loyalty, is being transported somewhere after being misfired by her friend's teleportation spell. Now, five years later, she has returned, but being different than she was now.

At the assault on Canterlot, she was a medic, but not for the Equestrians.
After the assault is concluded, a new struggle for the Changelings begins as those who survive must still find food and shelter.
Will the Equestrians simply forgive the Changelings for their assault on their capitol, and if so how bumpy a road is this going to become?
