I was originally going to hold off on this but the new episode inspired me. This takes place at the wonderbolts training camp, but deviates slightly. I know the characters say other but that is only untill they put Lightning Dust in the characters list. Yes she is in here.

How dare she come in here like I had nothing better to do than to drop all my orders and bow to her whims! I've never barged into the weather office to demand a sunny day when one hadn't been scheduled! Where does she get off demanding things from me? It's as though she knew I would stop whatever I was doing to make her happy. The painful part was, she was right.

When Twilight finds out what happens at the end of the Daring Do saga, she fears how Rainbow Dash will react to it, and tries to hide the book away from her.

This was written before season four, episode four, "Daring Don't," when it's revealed that Daring Do is a real pony, not a fictional character. Because of that, an Alternate Universe tag was thrown up shortly after the original air date of the episode. Simply consider the author of the Daring Do books as anonymous or not yet revealed for this story. Otherwise, it unfortunately doesn't make much sense.

Now that rainbow dash has taken scootaloo under her wing, she tries to find out a little more about her new apprentice. however what she finds out is much more deeper then she thought, and she may be the only one to save scootaloo from her troubled life.

Before meeting Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo had always been sort of a loner. Her schoolmates ignored her, the townsfolk only paid her mind when she ran into them with her scooter, and her own mother pretended she didn't exist.
Scootaloo didn't mind being alone. It gave her more time to think.. It gave her more freedom. Friendship and compassion does nothing but hold us back, after all.
But Hearths Warming Eve comes along... This holiday has always been her least favorite holiday.

After the episode, "Sleepless in Ponyville", Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo have grown quite close. However, when Rainbow Dash learns that Scootaloo's need for acceptance is more than just hero worship, Rainbow Dash refuses to back down. She pushes her limits - financially - to be there for this filly who's like a sister to her how she's needed most.

Rainbow Dash has always wanted to be a Wonderbolt, but all she's ever seen has been the glory of it, never understanding what it truely meant beyond the best of the best. However, someone she's long looked up to is going to reveal truths she will need to know to make an important decision...all the while holding back something even more important.

Twilight Sparkle's mother has always loved her daughter no matter what. However, ever since Celestia sent her to Ponyville she has been feeling saddened to barely see her anymore. Unable to express herself without spreading her downtrodden feelings to others, she keeps it stored away from the world.

Though every night, when the moon is high and everypony is asleep, she takes a little bit of time to desperately soothe her heart, and to remember the past.

When Twilight arranges a group camp-out, the ponies end up discussing their dream stallions around the campfire. Everyone is surprised by what they learn about each other, and the two ponies least interested in romance find they have a lot in common.

Originally written in February of 2011 and posted first to /co/ then EqD, this was my first story and one of the original pieces of TwiDash. This has been edited for inclusion on FIMFiction, with thorough proofreading & editing by Double Dash. Do keep in mind this was written halfway through season 1 and without much of the information we've received in later seasons. Rainbow Dash is grounded by a storm in Ponyville. She finds sanctuary within the library but Twilight Sparkle soon finds out that the storm isn't Rainbow's only problem. She's suffering from a very personal pegasus problem and Twilight has taken it upon herself to look after her friend during this delicate time.
