Rainbow Dash isn't your ordinary pegasus. She has a secret ability that ponies thought only unicorns and alicorns could posses. Magic! Not magic like Twilight's though, Rainbow's is stronger. And it's dark magic.

Sorry I suck at descriptions

So I had a weird dream where I saw Rainbow Dash ruling the Crystal Empire like Sombra did and thought, "Hey would it make a cool story if Rainbow Dash was secretly King Sombra's daughter and had a stronger version of his abilities?" So here it is! Not too harsh in the comments please, this is just an experimental story to see where it goes. Helpful advice is always welcome though!

Our lives were getting far more dangerous. We all knew this. Every single one of us. We would all die for our friends. That's who we are. We'd push ourselves over the edge to save those close. And so one by one, we each met fate, in it's cruelest mind. One by one, we died, because sometimes friendship can't solve everything.

While out hiking by herself, Twilight comes upon a mare sitting near a campfire. The mare looks familiar, but that isn't whats bothering Twilight. It's the fact that the mare's ears and head twitch towards any sound in the forest. Is she waiting for someone?

When a terrible accident happens to Celestia, the fate of Equestria hangs in the balance of her recovery. Everypony is concerned and wondering who did it. When the guards look back at the scene all of the evidence points to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash is punished, and her five friends are devastated by it. Twilight knows that she didn't do it, but she has to find out who did.

When Rainbow Dash dies, her wife, the Princess of Friendship, reflects on a life well lived.

Pinkie Pie tries to cope with her feelings when a terrible accident sends Rainbow Dash into a coma. While searching for medical documents, Pinkie finds a letter addressed to her that leaves her with a heartbreaking choice to make.

A freak accident causes Rainbow Dash to have to relearn the basics of both flight and walking. Her dreams of being a Wonderbolt seem crushed forever and she feels empty. However, all is not lost.

An unexpected stallion becomes her guide and trainer to help her become the pegasi she once was. They become fast friends, but will they discover more in this adventure in friendship?
