Chrysalis has been defeated, and Starlight has been living in the Castle of Friendship for several months. Over that time, she has become fast friends with both Twilight and Spike. However, where Twilight is concerned, something else might be blossoming instead of simple friendship.

There's just one problem. Neither of them have any experience with affairs of the heart. Thankfully, they can always rely on Spike to offer his unconditional support.

A quick oneshot idea I had in the middle of the night that's set just a few days after the season 5 finale.

Starlight is prone to overthinking especially with everything that just happened, it was hard to even imagine she deserved the treatment she was receiving. But no matter how many times Starlight turns away from it all, Twilight is there to reassure her. Twilight wants nothing more than to help Starlight feel like she belongs and understand that she is becoming somepony knew, change is hard and it seems to be hitting Starlight more than others in the current time.

When Twilight Sparkle prepares to turn in for the night, she is approached by an intoxicated Starlight Glimmer. Unable to stand or form complete sentences, the drunken unicorn attempts to profess her love for the princess of friendship.

Starlight spends a lonely night in her office, thinking about her life and its purpose.

The results aren't pretty.

(AU Takes place after Father Knows Beast) Ever since Sludge left, Starlight hardly talks to Spike for some reason and keeps glaring at him, he doesn´t know why. so he decides to ask Twilight what he did wrong, when he finds out what he did, or in this case didn´t do, he begs for forgiveness.

After Princess Twilight declined becoming the sole ruler of Equestria, her life returned to normal for the most part. It is while she is thinking about who gave her the advice to decline the role that her feelings come to the surface, feelings that she must make known.

Starlight trusted Trixie. She really did. Trixie and her had a special bond with each other, so special that they could often make out endlessly.

Though Starlight did wonder if their relationship meant more to Trixie than just simple pleasure and Trixie wondered if she could be honest with herself.

In Equestria, harmony prevails. Earth ponies toil in the fields, pegasi control the weather and serve the homeland, Canterlot lives in luxury, and Princess Celestia once again thanks the Mane Six for saving the country. The Princess of Friendship recently even acquired her own castle.
Suddenly, an unexpectedly appearing map sends the friends on a mission to an unusual village. Little did they suspect that the red flags scattered throughout the village were not placed there without reason, and that they had arrived at the beginning of the Socialist Revolution.

The AU tag was added because the story of Sunburst and Starlight's friendship, and subsequently the history of Our Town, differs from the canonical outcome. Additionally, the story suggests that Celestia and Luna were not alicorns from birth.

Starlight used to be a horrible pony. Enslaving an entire town as its dictator? Preventing the Sonic Rainboom from ever happening? Nearly destroying Equestria as we know it? Very few things come close. But there's one thing Starlight is certain of: she's still the same magically-gifted, intelligent pony, and she hasn't lost sight of herself in that regard.
