Thrust into power after her miracle of raising the sun, Celestia deals with the luxuries and responsibilities of being a ruler. After she loses control of her power, resulting in a national tragedy, she begins to wonder just what it means to be a leader with no pony and nothing to answer to.

After receiving a letter about Democracy from Twilight, Princess Celestia decides that she needs to destroy this idea before a revolt starts up.
This one was also just a ton of fun to write!

Princess Celestia sends a friendship report to her faithful student.

It was a construct built to last the ages, a great machine hoofcrafted by Celestia and her most skilled arcanists. Within its nigh-indestructible confines, the countless inhabitants of the Moon Engine system could live out their thousand-and-one-year duty, aiding Celestia in a task left unmanaged during Nightmare Moon's banishment.

And for a thousand years and eight months, all was as it should be.

...and then Trixie showed up.

Nopony anticipated quite how much damage a single pony could do. But then, nopony'd ever thought to consider somepony quite as... viral as Trixie.

As a filly living in Canterlot Castle, Twilight Sparkle either wakes up from a scary nightmare, as well as missing her family, or a thunderstorm, Princess Celestia comforts her. Just because she was her mentor didn't mean she couldn't offer a motherly touch.

Luna is on her way to visit Celestia, but hears her squealing for someone to 'stop!'

She walks in on Twilight on top of a red-faced Celestia, and the two of them react like guilty teenagers. Just what the buck is going on here?!

Rainbow Dash taught Scootaloo everything she needed to live her dreams. Scoot is a Wonderbolt now, while Rainbow Dash never even tried out. But when Dash passes away suddenly, Scoot is left with one lesson Rainbow Dash refused to teach her, the lesson that tore apart their friendship.

But maybe there's still time to learn something from her idol, and the way she lived her life.

Sweetie Belle pulls a prank on Rarity, but a good laugh is not the only thing that she wants.

Should you form attachments to mortals if you yourself will never die?

Losing the last of her friends in a battle that should never have been fought, Twilight Sparkle's world falls apart, until meaning and purpose come back into her life in the most wonderful way imaginable. But she forgets, again, that every living creature must eventually die...

When Twilight Sparkle stresses over her upcoming education at UCU, she unintentionally causes a future where Equestria falls to an evil ruler. She, with old friends and some new ones, must do all she can to prevent this future, or else sacrifice her life.
Hello everypony and thanks so much for taking the time to read my fanfic! This is actually my first fanfic ever, let alone first for MLP, so I’m definitely a bit new at this. Hopefully, that isn’t too obvious in my writing.
This fanfic is a combination of the world and characters of MLP as well as the plot of one of the Danny Phantom mini-movies, “The Ultimate Enemy” (really, really good episode! Check it out on Netflix or it is probably available online somewhere). I really want to gush about why I decided to do this, but I’m afraid reveal any spoilers.
For those of you who are quite familiar with the characters and world of MLP, I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me feedback on how believable the story is. I started outlining for this story before the season 2 finale aired and even before the episode “It’s About Time” aired, just fyi if things don’t line up perfectly or whatever.
Otherwise, all types of feedback are welcome, though I would greatly appreciate it if you could also tell me what you like in particular, so I know to keep doing it in the upcoming chapters! I know this is just a prologue, so everything’s kind of vague right now, but I promise I’ll try to have Chapter 1 up in a week or two!
